Excellent interview. Prof. Vaknin is well informed on these topics so it was invigorating to listen this morning. That line from the Janis Joplin song comes to mind: "Freedom is just another word for nothing left to lose". Prof. Vaknin is spot on about humanity's worship of materialism, and the example he put forth of factory labor and smartphones illustrates this perfectly. I remember a builder telling me that workers were housed in shipping crates in Dubai and Abu Dhabi to save money. The builder was only concerned that he would not be making money off shipping his men from the UK to the Saudi job site, he had zero emotion about housing humans in shipping containers in the desert. Rock bottom is the only way.
Excellent, gentle (Ms. Vera), and tearful thoughts… Let’s remember love while walking into last stages of Crucifying Truth.

I feel that as long as we have flags that represent countries, it's a constant reminder to stay at each other's throats, territorial illusion to feed our hunger of being none. Conglomerate healing and civility.
