Thanks so much for doing this series. My wife died of breast cancer last year at the age of 42. She went through something similar when she was diagnosed. I am glad to see someone who is making it.
This is my first time watching this series, and once again I realize that Sara Dietschy can do anything. I loved this episode so much! Makes me want to go take a class and learn to make something new.
I'm in a very hard time at the moment, and I'm going through it really far away from home. And it's videos like these that give me a lot of hope and positive vibes. Thank you, Sara.
It's videos like this that really inspire and makes me want to work hard at what I love not matter how tough things can be at times. Thanks so much for this. Forever grateful.
This is such a fabulous series Sara, thank you so much for bringing these inspirational people into our world...and so wonderfully shot and put together...keep it up, you're awesome!xxx
Wow....what a great episode. I can totally relate to this artists story and background. I was finally diagnosed with a brain tumor three years ago and went through the treatments. It was a really eye opening experience that further instilled in me that I cannot just live my life day to day just because this current job is comfortable with a steady pay check. Every day I think about how I can improve my creative skill set to love the place I go to everyday. I no longer want to live comfortably, I want the satisfaction of someone loving and appreciating my creations and art. I want to work my ass off for what I love to do. So many young adults think they have to go to college after high school because that's what everyone says but that is so not the case.
This story is unbelievably inspiring to me. Working full time 9-5 for a business I absolutely love is hard considering it cuts into my creative time at home to pursue growing my swimsuit business, AVASwimwear. I do it on the side for now making competitive body building suits for Alaskan competitors and a handful of competitors in the continental US. I hope someday to make the leap from a steady income to being on my own and growing AVASwimwear into something truly rewarding and valuable. Thank you for this series!
Sarah you are onto something extremely special with this series, I wish I could fly out to Nashville and intern for you, you really are a very special person.
Great job Sara! I've gotten so much inspiration by watching this series. Shows me that I don't have to fit into the mold society & the educational system has designed. All of these artists and creators found their own way, by just pursuing their passion. Thanks for the videos
In love with this. Hope I'll soon get to the point of quitting everything and just be me... Every little step in the right direction helps, this project of yours too. Great work!
