Your paintings bring John Marin to my mind.

Appreciate that. Big ham of Marin. Discovered his work back in the early 90’s when I vacationed in the coast of Maine. He’s a bit looser but very loose with the brush. Thanks again for sharing

So glad you started this channel. After I took your watercolor workout last year, I was looking for more content like that. Thank you So much!

Hi Robert, Great to see your channel thriving. I love your very loose paintings. No secret that your channel is doing well. Most are trying to loosen up. Including myself. thanks for all your insight.

    Unique art for sure..
Confidence is something that cant be faked in art, it only comes with expirience and age and its what makes good art first and foremost...I find my self cringe at artists who paint "too clean" or are too careful and too much detail oriented...Bold strokes made with confidence is where its at, at least for me, and you sir dont miss those!

Thanks. Yes, it does take time to build confidence. And it's another thing to develop a way of expressing it, kind of like starting all over but with a set of tools at your disposal. Glad we connected :)
