I came to check out the bridge, and stayed to listen to your playing. Beautiful. I appreciate your attention to sonic detail, nicely demonstrated. I subscribed. Cheers. ✌ 👽 🎸
I've replaced many parts with Wilkinson parts. They are as good as many other more expensive parts. I just replaced to P90s and the tremolo on a Tagima Jazz-style guitar with Wilkinson p90s and Wilkinson tremolo and it sounds amazing.
Tomo your playing is amazing it has a way of mesmerizing me, thank you so much. I love how you play single lines and I can still feel the chord progression through your phrasing.
I have had some love and hate relationship with my own Stratocaster as well. Thank you! I will try putting on this Wilkinson Bridge, that might make me love the guitar again
Lovely fretboard as well as the cool vibrato bridge. The ebony gives cut, while the electronics and the bridge balance the sound. Your hands bring beauty out of this combination. You found the happy place for this “parts” guitar!
Thank you for the great video. Very cool guitar! I have used Wilkinson parts on a few of my own guitars. Great to know that the best guitar players use Wilkinson also.
I would love to have a Wilkinson Tremolo Bridge for my Yamaha Pacifica 112V, BUT I really would prefer to just upgrade to a Pacifica 612VIIFM which comes with the Wilkinson instead. LOL I always enjoy listening to you play and enjoy your videos Tomo. Thank you.
Dear Tomo, I have bought an AZES 40 because of your recommendation. I am very satisfied though I am thinking about changing the bridge to this Wilkinson. Is it worth it in your opinion?
I prefer the slightly wider string spacing on the 54mm Wilkinson bridge, rather than the modern standard 52.5mm. The push fit tremolo arm is also an improvement imo. Thanks for sharing and very nice playing. 👍
I have a budget strat and want more sustain. Would you recommend this bridge or the deluxe version? These saddles are bent steel vs the deluxe with milled saddles.
I got one on my PRS. All the other guitars with tremolos I would not try to use because they are not good. That one though is good. I dont know if its the same model but Wilkinson
@@TomoFujitaMusic Ah, floating a little for the fluttery stuff, cool. I just got the WV6SB version after listening. Changing from 2 point floating, the very beefy bent steel Highwood saddles too, and "sproingy" trem springs. Fingers crossed!! 🤞
@@oldasrocks9121 Hello Oldas, i'm looking for that bridge, but my guitar has 52,5mm of distancie between the 1st and the 6th screw. I know that this bridge has the 5+1 system with that extended holes for better fixing in any guitar, but, is that hole extra spacing in the holes enough for a 52,5mm bridge? Or it's just for 56mm and 54mm only? Can you help me with that?

Love hearing you play, Tomo!
Thank you so much!
Tremolos give such a heavenly sound. Recently got a guitar with a tremolo and love using it all the time. Cheers.
Yes! Thank you!
I might be wrong but I think its not tremolo but vibrato.
@@lc-b352 Thank you! even wrong way to say it... popular way to say it! Both good!
@@TomoFujitaMusic Still incredible sound and "flutter" xD
Covering the routing hole from the Kahler with pick guard material is actually pretty clean.
You know this guitar very well!

The Wilkinson trem bridge made this guitar sustain better and over all tone much better!
Very classy trem cover! Great idea! And Great Playing of course!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you so much!

This guitar sounds amazing!
Thank you! So happy to hear that!
I blacked out my strat with a black Wilkinson trem and it’s awesome.
Good job! So awesome!
Tomo-san, do you float or deck your trems? I have a Wilkinson on one of my strats. I'd love to see you do a demo of how you set yours up.
It sits on the body but the springs are loose side than locked!
Thank you so much!
Superb playing
Thank you!

このギターの見た目のインパクト凄くて大好きです!!

So happy to hear that! That original bridge is so good! But you can do whatever you want! Thank you!
Almost makes me wanna remove that block of wood I jammed in there and un-hardtail my guitar
Even hardtail feel with a regular trem bridge. Play with the springs.
Handrails are for candy-ass amateurs
Can you please tell me what model number bridge this is? T.y.
WV6R
I think!

Tomo, what does that white piece of plastic behind the bridge sippose to do?
1) Has a little hole after installing the bridge.
2) I used to have the EMG pickups & use it for 9 volt battery.
3) Nice mysterious cover!
Wher to get those pickups? They are perfect
Grinning Dog Funkmaster TF Signature set from Japan. Thank you!
@@TomoFujitaMusic thank you sir
Did you play a Steve Vai song in the intro? You play that guitar sophisticated!
No. Improvised something. Thank you!
Wilkinson makes good stuff and is affordable! For us, poorer builders! I use Wilkinson all the time! Thanks
So good! Great to hear that! Thank you!
This guitar sounds particularly crisp in a unique way, maybe it’s the ebony fretboard? Definitely suits you!
Yes! The ebony fretboard & ash body. Thank you!
Sir Fuji, will the WV6R fits on 52.5mm's?
I really don't know that details.
Dear Kevin, did you find this info? I have a 52,5mm's too, please if you have that info I will be so grateful
@@music.martin.g Hey! It fits on a 52.5mm but the saddles are 10.8mm.
@@kevinsalas2716 thanks Kevin!
@@kevinsalas2716Do you know if it fits a Yamaha pacífica??
Is the plate behind the trem were a cover for Floyd routing tho?

What is better than the stock one ?
The Wilkinson trem Bridge WV6R is better than the other brand bridge was on this guitar.
What's the guitar and amp used in the video?
Seymour Duncan Stratocaster
Fender Musicmaster Bass Amp
What is that white plastic bellow the bridge?
Secret!
SHOW HOW IT WORKS!!!!!!!!!!!😮
NO ONE ON RUclips SHOWS HOW THESE TREMS ACTUALLY "BEND"!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?😢😢😢😢@😢😢

Always called tremolo but its a vibrato. Alters pitch not volume
