Just to add to the resins Im behind on your videos- I just got a puppy. My reading, video watching and time is taken up by baby Bubbba. When summer break starts I’m binging videos! Hope you are well!!!
I absolutely LOVED Bless Your Heart, I read that book in 24 hrs, it was such a fun read. As a woman who was born in east Texas who was raised there in the 90's, this book is so damn accurate.
My favorite two books that I read this month were Anne of Green Gables and The perks of being a Wallflower. Two very different vibes but I loved them both 🧛
So I looked at my May reads. During the month, I read two thrillers - I could. not. remember. what. they. were. about. I actually had to look up the description. Ironically, I'm having an "open to reading thrillers" year but they just don't stick which makes me question my life choices. I read 11 books in May. My favorite: A Gentleman in Search of a Wife by Grace Burrows. Fifth in historical mystery series set in regency era. I like the MC, Lord Julian, who was a PoW during Napoleonic Wars and came back with physical and emotional trauma to deal with as well as a reputation as a traitor to his country. Each book is under 300 pages. And I loved The Blade Itself. For some reason I've been holding off on reading the second --- savoring? Commitment issue? Afraid for the characters? I dunno. 🔪
Omg girl! I will be the other only fan of How to Sell a Haunted House 🏠 👏 I have read other scary books and this has been the only one that both scared me and couldn't get me to put it down (at the same time). We must have great taste hehe 😹 love your videos! Hello from Aus 🦘🌏❤
I sure did need to see your beautiful soul today!! I love getting the notice you posted a new video as I feel like I am catching up with my little Sis!! Thank you for getting me hooked on the Everflame Series it was on my radar, but I hadn't read them yet.. until you did. I read all three that are out in a day & a half. Can't wait for the last one. 💗💗 I have been loving the over 2 hour vlogs as well. Thank you for just being you!!
Here's what I read in may A very private school by Charles Spencer memoir Murtagh by Christopher paolini Binding 13 by chloe Walsh Steelstriker by marie lu The green mile by Stephen king Interview with the vampire by Anne rice City of fire by don Winslow
I am about 80 pages into Bless Your Heart and loving it! I tried reading The Blade Itself awhile back and was so upset by the torture scene that I DNF'd. I am going to try it again on audio and try to fast forward through that stuff, but I'm about 3 months wait on Libby . Thanks for the book advise!
There’s definitely a lot of torture because of who that character is in this world, but I will say after that one scene it really fades to black before truly depicting more torture the further you get into the book!
I just started Gods of Jade and Shadow by Silvia Moreno-Garcia and I'm really excited. Haven't read reviews, but I know I like this author❤ I want to read These Infinite Threads after this one! Do you know if it's a good one to listen to via audiobook? If it's a more...complicated book I think I'd rather read it?
Such a good author! Make sure you start with This Woven Kingdom and I would recommend the series physically read because it is a lot of world building (to me!). 💛
Jake in the background was the perfect touch. 👌🏻
The way Jake looks at you when you talk...pure love😍
He’s such a cutie 🐕💛
Jake chilling with you while you chat about books, precious 🤗
