For the apparent lack of reaction for Shadow, it actually fits him. He’s already been through a lot with his past, especially involving Maria, so it’s possible he is internalising his reaction, especially if there’s someone next to him. He’s seen someone he cares about die in front of him before, so he knows how he’ll react, and is able to mask said reaction. Even in this nightmarish situation, he’s trying to stay cool and calm, but internally, he’s probably thinking about how he failed to protect someone _again._ Especially since he cares about all the other survivors in his own way, even if he doesn’t show it, since normally, he’s willing to help Sonic and his friends at the drop of a hat, even if he attempts to justify it with some other reason. So, for example, if he and Tails were to find Amy, Tails would be understandably upset, but Shadow would likely mask his own grief for the sake of comforting Tails.

He actually does, his expression changes from normal to sad
He feels bad for the people who died, but that’s how his model looks like when he’s sad

for those saying Shadow doesnt care, he does. That face is the look of either dissatisfaction or sadness. He isnt always sad so he shows it like that. shadow does care as most of them were his friends and he still cared about them. He was uncomfortable, not 😐
I love how everyone got scared /worried when they saw the dead bodies around, it adds more detail to the game and their characters. Seeing a body will make them feel like they'll end up like the others, and tries their best to survive the nightmare.
And then there's shadow.

I think Tails has best reaction here along with Cream seeing as they’re the younger ones of the group. Knuckles couldn’t care less about seeing Eggmans body maybe there was a part of him that thought Eggman deserved that fate for all the chaos he caused.
Not actually. Knuckles' facial expression always changes to that when he sees a corpse.

In case you didn't know, there are ALSO reactions to when a character is grabbed, but you need 3 people. I do know knuckles gets mad
Like, if tails is grabbed, and knuckles watches, he becomes mad

But I can easily conflate his reaction with 'This isn't funny, Faker' after Sonic.exe appears.
Finding that out for the first time was honestly a cool detail for me, it shows how creative outlaik is

Shadow has seen more dead people in his game, so he honestly doesn't care.
Something occurs to me. And if some characters see a corpse, I don't know if they will probably feel nauseated, some will cry and others will lose their sanity little by little, although that would be in my Sonic.exe project.
Tbh it definitely reminds me of let’s talk about tails comic, and I can actually see that implementing great.

i've played the rp game made by outlaik using the same models, and the expressions that these characters are making after looking shocked or angry at a body is "very sad", meaning that they aren't really scared for their own lives, but grieving over the brutal deaths of their closest friends. other than shadow, whose reaction goes from "neutral" to "serious". their mouths also change, from "neutral" to "angry"/"open" to "tired" when seeing a body.

I dont know what this teory Is real In this game: but if Knuckles see a Someone dead instead, Knuckles got mad vs Sonic and if he punch, him face react with a fury.
For those who had a stroke reading that,he means that if Knuckles see's a teammate die right in front of him,he'll get mad.
Hitting a stun when Knuckles is mad will change his expression to a fury one,avenging whoever died.
