I stopped caring about the lifeboats after watching middle class volunteers picking up dinghy' and bringing them here.

Hemsby Lifeboat station is fully independent and not part of RNLI, they do not receive funding from RNLI or the government, staff are all volunteers.

The government needs to spend some lotto funds on the beach defence

Oooo such a shame, no one in norfolk to pick up the illegal immigrants that have been washing up all the way from dover to great yarmouth. It is sad the people lose part of their town but stop paying your taxes if the government wont do a good job, keep the money and pay for defences yourselves.

Why don't these people do something to help themselves? I'd have been building my own sea defences if I'd been living there; a ton of rocks here and there soon mounts up into something formidable. People expect everything on a plate these days.

If the locals want to have a lifeboat & slipway, why don't they join together and dig them out!🤔

I'm confused as to why the Lifeboat service not being able to launch would leave the entire town "struggling". For people whose jobs are solely on land, that they walk, cycle or drive to, how will this affect them?

Because if they want to go for a swim in the sea and then get stranded, nobody can get to them

at some point in history didn't those sand hills used to be the sea bed?

Lifeboats should be made into an insurance company, they'll only launch if you've paid your premium like roadside assistance
