You can tell its good when I'm looking for him, and only finding him like 50% of the time. Imagine someone who is not looking for him, or maybe someone who has to scan a large area and is unlikely to come within 50m anyway. Great concealement
hes also in camera shot so ur looking for him in a little area you already know where he is. impossible to find him if someone was looking for him in the whole forest
Having made a few of these, as well as using them in all conditions. I have one piece of advice, don’t use Jute, burlap, or hemp. Way to heavy in the rain. Use synthetic yarn, it’s lighter when wet, and dries faster. Also, it’s warmer when wet.
Been following you since 2017, you sparked my interest in scout and snipers, and now I have a couple of friends that share this interest with me and we have fun in the woods and in the shooting range on the weekends. Thank you Ripperkon, hope you continue this kind of videos!
This gave flashbacks from the past man... I remember Your first videos. I remember when You got this leo kohler pants and jacket. It made me buy this set too honestly. Was nice to see an old school video like that again :)
I saw a video of a guy that used that cheap Walmart cammo paint we use on our rifles on an umbrella. He evaded thermo imaging. Should do a video on it with a drone.
When I was in highschool a kid showed up in his dad's ghillie suit, surprisingly they let him sear it all day and we collectively just pretended he wasn't there the whole day. He'd say something and everyone would be like did you hear something? Where is that coming from? Where are you? Teachers too it was a good day though I'm sure the janitor wasn't very pleased with all the little bits of debris left behind
Having been a Landscape Gardener for man years , Terry wondered what it would feel like to be a plant 🌱. Finding the right place was the problem. Keep trying Terry.
The only times I actually spotted you I could see your boots! If you do something about your boot heals you would be alot harder to spot, this is coming from someone who is colour blind I think someone like me looks for outlines and shapes more to find you lol
We practiced this in Search & Rescue.. If a hunter would have a heart attack, it's almost impossible to find them... One hour after death the body odor changes and a tracking dog will go pass them, then the Cadaver dogs are brought in..
Good shit. Can you do a drone view of the suit? Just to see what it looks like from the top. Also do you not do the back of your boots? I feel like if I was walking I would have seen a pair of boots
Spotted you 80% ;) cause you choosed an area with natural mid strong Wind movement. Having a trained eye i could spot you because the sticks and leafs on your suit are too short and stiff and do not move in the Wind like your surroundings do. The color and variation is nearly perfect, but allways think of shadows, rain and wind. Especially when you have to "sniper crawl" forward without being recognized. Just test it with your helmet or gun first. Prepare your helmet, leave it and walk a few feet away and turn around. If it takes you a few seconds to find it again you've done a good job and are ready to prepare the Rest in the same pattern.
Yeah, but they are cheap. I built my own. Using a boonie hat, army coat, army pants, and burlap bags, with dye for the terrain you want. Take burlap bags apart, the make single thread burlap. And be creative, cover back and head, and back of legs if you want to go extreme. You could even just make a poncho with a hood. The more broke up your body image is, the better. And your ghillie suit requires a lot of local plants, shrubs, branches, leafs, ect. Good luck friend. Be creative.👍
Previously I didn't understand, why PRO soldiers are making Gillie suit by themselves, but now I learned. You should use for camouflage THOSE plants, that exists at the area, where you are planning to operate. There are specific grass all over this field, except this strange place. Let's shoot there 😜🤡🤡🤡☠️☠️☠️
In this film we hope to show how not to be seen. This is Mr. E.R. Bradshaw of Napier Court, Black Lion Road London SE5. He can not be seen. Now I am going to ask him to stand up. Mr. Bradshaw will you stand up please. (Gunshot) This demonstrates the value of not being seen.
Not too difficult to lay down on the forest floor and not be seen with all that low greenery around. However, your situational awareness is poor and you won't be able to see anything if your intent is to deploy a weapon against a target.
It depends. Some of the bushes are strong and will stand up again. But sure, the best would be to select a trail, that the animals use. Or at least try not to damage the foliage by just crawling over it.
I really wouldn't advise anyone to wear this during hunting season. A hunter my mistake you for bigfoot or some weird crap. After they unload on you it'll be to late to say OH I WAS JUST PLAYING. Then you'll be nominated for the Darwin award.
Things are different here in Germany. Hunters only shoot something if they are certain that it‘s game. You go to jail when you kill someone and don‘t check if they‘re human beforehand. You may be right for hunting season in the US where shooting on anything that moves is legal haha jk.
It simply doesn't work this way aginst a good old fashioned Artilleryfront, where almost all Ukrainian Soldiers say, that they have never seen a Russian...

Same here. Cutting that also felt like a flashback.

Had that poor pup all messed up . Good video. Have a great evening
This reminds me of the old joke.
The Col. Said to the Private.
"I didn't see you in camouflage class today".
Shiney polished boots and the shiney lens! 😂
please give that doggo an extra pet from me 😊
Great Demonstration of the Ghillie
(The word Originated in Scotland).
3:49 the FIRST time when your position became at least A LITTLE suspicious.
Previous ones were IMPOSSIBLE to notice (at least by civilians like me).
There's always a feeling of being watched 🤣
The Dog suite was great, couldn’t tell
There was a sniper in it !
Ill sit there all night watching you😃
I spotted you several times but from that camera angle it's easier than if at ground level regular view.your boots give you away
Well done K.🙂👍👍👍

Perfect action, but what is visibility/ability to hear sound with the hood on?
Cool. Except in this modern age of warfare, there is thermal imaging devices that the enemy would no doubt have. Good luck.
Furthermore defending your self in Canada is not an option. Massive confiscation of firearms.
Unfortunately that's all it is. ( Cool)

The back of your legs and boots could use additional vegetation

wow! i dunno who he is more to associate with? Snake Plissken or Snake from Metal Gear!?
Just a sneaky lil' guy
If you tilt your phone and close one eye you can see where you are before you move!
Hundiiii
If you look hard enough at all the background of each video...
You will find John Cena.
Practice may perfert!
Bring it
Nice coumoflage, but this couldn't hide from an thermal camera isn't it?
what uniform are you wearing under the ghillie? Like the name of the smock and where to get it.
The uniform is part of the ghillie.
It's the Smock and Pants by Leo Köhler.
Einsatzkampfjacke and Einsatzkamphose ;)
What is the ghillie suit called

People just shoot anything that moves where you're from???
Almost like where’s Waldo, but different.
You will want to get this vegetation in a place as far as possible from you to not be detected.
You could get hurt running around the forest dressed up like a shrub. lol
I'd be covered with ticks If I lay down like that
That's why I did this in November. Here in Germany the Ticks are less active in that time.
In summer they are annoying AF.
Yea everything is fun and games untill the bushes start talking and pointing guns at you....
MAKE MORE VIDEOS.

For LARPing and animal watching purposes 😉
