- Today I am sharing with you how I style my hair in a lob (long bob) hair style. I had my hair this length a few years ago, loved it, but grew it out. I recently missed it and am so glad I went back! This is a tutorial on how to get easy waves that will last you 3 days! My new "mom" hair. :)
On wet hair:
I use a leave-in and some type of styling/volumizing product.

On dry hair after it's styled:
I use a texture cream, hair spray and shine spray. Or just a surf spray.

Bless you for this lol. Just cut my hair into a lob for the first time ever from having hair almost down to my butt my whole life. Sitting here looking like lord farquad. Ordering that curling wand now!

I'm with you there, probably rocking more of a Dora meets Lord Farquad though. Whilst everyone else looks cute I seem to be looking like a Mom.. Borderline potato.
Couldn't style my hair long, let alone short, so I'm not sure why I'm surprised it never looks right! Trying to enjoy it.. Or at least accept it!
Did you get the wand, did it make a difference? Thinking of getting it myself (and probably putting it with the other 30!)

Love your hair Kendra. Wish this style would last in my thick and stick straight hair! I have to start with tighter than I like curls because by the end of the day it loses the wave even with hair product.
Hi Kendra! I just got a similar haircut which explains why I found this now. So helpful. I normally skip hair videos but you shared simple things I wasn't doing! For example, the straightening of the bottom and the pieces after curling. Also, I worry about products b/c I don't like to wash my hair daily. Usually my "after" is how you started :) I'd love to see more from you for "holiday" styling and parties. Thank you so much. (PS Love your channel and other content too).

Love, love, love!! You style your lob so well! I love styling mine this way as well! Unfortunately I have curly/wavy hair, so I have to flat iron it on day 1, then curl days 2&3... sometimes it can last till day 4😃. You mastered that choppy straight look at the ends, that’s what I love most! 👍🏻

i use the spray from aveda that speeds up the dry time, it is a black spray bottle

Becky M. Usually the highest for curling iron and a little lower for straightener
You can style those waves with straighteners or curling iron!

I have naturally wavy to curly hair that just barely touches my shoulders. All I do is wash my hair, apply curl product, plop my hair with a t-shirt and air dry. I never use heat on my hair anymore. I don't even know why I still have my flat iron. I think I'm just keeping it in case I want to straighten my hair, but I haven't in over a year.

I've never heard it called that. :) We call it a "Bob"cut. :)
Whitney Murray Licensed cosmetologist here- a bob is technically shorter than shoulders, a lob is considered a “longer bob”
This was the worst haircut I ever got. it did not work for me and neither had I the patience to style it. I just let it grow out without any fuss.
Lol your life would be easier if you sectioned your hair before curling
