Thanks for watching everyone! Was wanting to add my extracurriculars in this video as well, but that could take up a whole new video! So stay tuned for a video just on the extracurriculars that helped me get accepted.
Jatin my man, you're probably one of the most genuine creators out here right now - thanks for being so open to sharing your experiences and I enjoyed getting to learn your journey bro. Excited to see you in medical school :)
love how honestly you are sharing your experiences, I believe many people can relate to that and I completely agree with you, there are way more qualities then grades that make a person successful ☺️ There is also no way around work and studying (of course luck helps but you know dedication brings dream to life). Connecting with upper years is always so helpful. You asked what school we are applying to: I graduated from med school, all the efforts were really worth it! Med school was a very whole experience for me and all the ups and downs paid off in the end ☺️ I am so glad and also proud of myself for doing it even tho I would like to explore my creativity and my passion project which is mind spaces and work as a coach/content/course creator to help students have a better mental wellbeing. Thank you for this amazing video! So glad I found your channel!
I agree with everything you said! That’s awesome that you recently graduated. Congrats! I watched a video of yours and that’s so awesome that you’re taking a year to work on passion projects. Keeping your creative side alive is so important IMO. Keep it up and I’ll stay tuned for more of your content!
Jatin for your undergrad program, what elective courses would you recommend one take to maintain a high average. Like should one take English or another social science?
Depends a lot on what prof is teaching and what students have to say about the prof! So reach out to upper years at your school and ask them as well. My general advice is take another social science that you find more interesting, english is typically not the most enjoyable subject for most people. Best of luck!

Thanks man, really appreciate it!
Awesome video man! I found it super interesting comparing the UK and US route to medicine. Excited to see more content from you dude 🤙🏽
Thanks man! And yeah, Ontario's process is alot more intense so I was lucky that I did not have to apply there
love this bro!
Love the emphasis on non-academic traits, grades are not everything and definitely don't make or break a med school application!
Agreed dude! Hope you're having a great summer

This channel would be incomplete without you bro
@@JatinGarg lol thx bro 🤜
hi jatin, do you think an 80 average is too low? do you know if anybody in your class was admitted with a lower gpa?
Hey Joselyn! I don’t think that’s too low. Definitely know a handful of people that get in with that average. Best of luck!
Does that mean you would work in health management since you do an MD-MBA?
Thanks for the informative video!
Hey Sakshi! It's definitely an option with having an MBA. But we will see what happens in the future
Nice video
Thanks man! Appreciate it
@@JatinGarg you’re welcome

Hey Jatin could you let us know what resources you used to study for your mcat?
Yes! I used UWorld for mock type exams, cars and psych/soc practice. Did all AAMC prep material and lastly studied from the Kaplan books!
