I nearly forget about this iconic banger of a song until I saw it featured on one of Charles' videos just now! Ah, this takes me back! Disney Channel used to really work hard to entertain its audience, and I grew up during one of its best eras. I honestly do feel sorry for the kids of today.

Y’all I am so sorry, and I want to preface this by saying I looove her… they have their individual strengths but sabrina can NOT sing, at least not at a recording artist caliber - I can see what you mean by their dynamic working nicely as a trio it definitely was a good era for them! but I will always love raven’s voice so much and what it brought to the songs, especially in CG2!! And kiely and Sabrina were obviously always the strongest dancers, their performance level mixed with both Adrienne and raven’s voices was absolute magic I must say 🥹

I think they were. They released the tcg album because they wanted to be taken seriously as a real group. They were still signed to Hollywood records, which Disney owned so they couldn't push the limits too much but they wanted as much of a mature sound that they could have while following the rules of the record label ( no curse words or sexual lyrics, etc)
