You can do it! I was in the streets literally. I was a str*pper and doing private shows if you know what I mean 😜 both situations made me motivated to finish school and make better for myself. I didn’t realize that my tough shell from both jobs would make me more than prepared for the nursing field and what it throws at me. I took my first class anatomy by itself to prove I could do more and I got an A. That set the tone for nursing school. You got this ❤❤❤❤❤

You got this! I grew up in the hood as well. I graduated college in 04, struggled to pass my nursing boards and finally became an RN in 2009. I've been a travel nurse since 2012 and now looking to get a high paying job in Cali. Don't allow your environment to distract you, stay focused and keep people out of your business. Wishing you the best of luck!

I’m launching in December. Who knew it’s possible but I’ve always a beauty enthusiast occupied & obsessed with beauty so I knew that one day I’ll have my own spa… so grateful with dr. Medspa business is super competitive. I thought about it but switch to a real estate business instead 50k-100k per month working 10-20 hour a week in addition to my nursing job per diem.

For nursing education/faculty positions do you get trained on the job or do you have to be very good at nursing knowledge. Is it ok for introvert personalities?

What unit do you work in? I know a few nurses who have worked there and loved it but some people are meant to be employees and others just gravitate towards being self employed. There's nothing wrong with either choice if the choice you've made brings you happiness.

Hey Jason, thanks for all the informative videos, it's helping me get motivated on my journey to becoming an RN. I have a couple of questions. Can you do a video on nurses running care home businesses? I heard there's a lot of money in that. also I have a quick question about being an RN. I am will finish my BSN program December 2024, I plan on working for Kaiser, since you sold me on that. So, do Kaiser north nurses get paid the same in all the specialties, like med-surg, PICU, and more importantly orthopedics. The reason I ask is because I think I want to do orthopedics and wanted to find out how the pay works between specialties. Thank you.
