To be honest, he proved his worth in 2nd half of the IPL. Other than power hitting, I don’t see any technic in his batting.
If ball doesn’t come nicely to bat, he doesn’t hit the ball properly. That was proved in 2nd half of IPL when pitches were slowed down
Team selectors and even we should not consider the parameter of IPL performance when choosing for world cup especailly (bi lateral series can try), that too in difficult batting conditions. And as all rounder he didnt bowl much (except 1 over), so proved Rinku in international cricket should have been obvious choice, even if india win this World cup also, we should agree with this fact. Lets hope, dube made us wrong by scoring impactual knock in final.
