At wellington airport planes get 3 chances to land before getting diverted to another airport (which is way up in Auckland or Christchurch) i have seen many touch and goes there
Short story: in the Hawaiian airport if you’ve ever been there, you would know the only thing that have for food is a Burger King out of all places. So the only thing I had was Burger King for a day. I was sick for the whole trip afterwards
The one about dfw airport couldn’t be more untrue. It’s probably the best layout of an airport with several security checkpoints making it only a 5 minute walk max to your gate.
I wish I could forget Chicago midway. Somebody on my flight out of Boston Logan lit up a cigarette in the bathroom so we all got stuck there while the feds took affidavits. Memorable.

to be fair, as a chicago inhabitant, i did forget midway existed until last week when i flew southwest for the first time in years
as a fellow chicagoan for a while, there is a reason why midway is called MID-way.

It's at least operational nowadays with one gate (the second had to be closed because it was deemed not safe enough.
VS CHicago OHare which has barely started renovations and is already 1.5x over budget
