    I have these for power wheelchair. Yup! It is extremely important to get them the correct distance apart. 10# each.

      Extremely important indeed but I learned that through trial and error

      These ramps come in very handy, and they are a very light weight

    Thanks Scott. I just ordered a set of those ramps to load my power chair into my SUV. I subscribed also btw.

      Cool deal. I would think a power chair would need a bigger ramp. Thanks for subscribing!!!

      @@ScottLynchPoP I do not ride up it but walk beside it using the joystick to drive the chair up it. It is going into my SUV so I fold it to load it. It can still use power when folded. The chair weighs 105 lbs. I am able to stand for short periods and can walk short distances. I load my Service Dog first, then the chair.

    Hello, I like your ramp .From where we can buy it? What is the approximately weight of each separate ramp? Thanks for sharing the video .

    Thanks Scott! Would you recommend going up the ramp facing forward or back, with an assistant?

    • @ScottLynchPoP
      @ScottLynchPoP 6 месяцев назад

      I recommend always facing up hill, part of a ramp. And have the assistant to your back. This way you don’t flip backwards

    The stairs at my corridor has a similar gradient. Is it safe for just one person to wheel it down?

    • @ScottLynchPoP
      @ScottLynchPoP Год назад +1

      Personally, I would say that it is too steep for me to do on my own. I would not recommend you do it on your own. However, it is probably possible to do it on your own. But I don’t think it will be safe. The longer the ramp is, the safer it would be. My ramp is only a 6 foot long. A 10 foot ramp would be not as steep but it would still be steeper than something I would do on my own.

  • @mykesystem879

    Is 6 ft okay for SUV or VAN use?

    • @ScottLynchPoP
      @ScottLynchPoP Год назад +2

      That could work depending on the hight of the vehicle. The higher the vehicle the steeper the ramp is going to be. Use the links in the description to get one from Amazon to try. If it works for you then keep it. If it doesn’t work for you then return it and keep trying different lengths until you find what works best for you.
