Are the plates silicone? If you use silicone plates and soap, the soap bleach is onto them and will make all of her food taste soapy. I learned the hard way. You should try her food off of the plate.

My daughter is 3 months younger but what helps me is having something I help her eat and the option for something to feed herself, so a pouch and sweet potatoes so we can eat and play with sweet potatoes but I’ll feed her the pouch so Ik she’s actually eating something haha

My toddler goes through stages of eating anything and everything one day the the next not wanting anything but water, juice or a nutritional kids shake 😂
I live in Arizona too and I always have to make sure I’m out of the house by 8am for my mornings walk with my daughter because it’s SO HOT!
