So the reason that elekid did so much damage was because electro ball does more damage depending on how much faster elekid is than the enemy. elekid has a base speed of 95 and metang has a base speed of 50 both at level 50. your metang was paralyzed which in gen 7 was a 50% speed decrease. according to the damage calculator that electroball was 120BP, if metang isn't paralyzed that's a 60BP move. For reference, diance’s speed stat is 50 and has a whopping 150 in both defenses. With moonblast that thing is very good in a nuzlocke

Green’s a toss-up, red is practically a crit catch with my experiences
