@@thebadochi question, can you explain to me what goes in the user stories for the description section. Is it brd frd or just functional requirements? If I’m doing a story on let’s say warehouse management
@@Atascares User stories are individual statements, so they would be equivalent to the stakeholder requirement statements that would be in a BRD. Then you have to refine the user stories to add acceptance criteria. The acceptance criteria are equivalent to the statements you would write in an FRD. I recommend watching the following tutorial on user stories for more clarification: ruclips.net/video/q26147zlcMU/видео.html I hope that helps!

This is so helpful and easy to follow. Thank you so much for your content on this platform. Can you give any tips on handling career gaps on a resume?
You're welcome! In terms of handling career gaps, one of the best ways to handle this is to discuss what you accomplished during this time gap, this can be school, course, or volunteer work. Highlighting an relevant degrees or certifications achieved can be especially helpful. I hope that helps!
Very usuful information. Thank you. Do you offer any interview prep. training?
Hi, Lilia! Yes, I do offer an interview prep program. You can check out the details via the link below. See the 2nd option: thebadoc.com/services
Is it ok to list hard skill and soft skill separately or can I keep it all under one section? If I have ERP exp, how should I add it on my resume skill section? Thanks for the great content.
You're welcome! You can really do either format depending on what you want to highlight. But if you are going for a more technical role, it may be a good idea list the hard skills separately toward the top of the resume to ensure it catches the Recruiter's or Hiring Manager's eye when they skim through your resume. If you have less relevant technical experience to rely on you may highlight the soft skills toward the top of the resume to compensate. I hope that helps!
As someone that's 2 years out of college and struggling to find a job (I majored in Marketing & Product Management), worked at AT&T in sales, what advice would you have to reframing the experience towards business analysis.
Hi, Ali! I'd say you would need to emphasize problem-solving and analytical skills such as identifying customer requirements and solving business problems. Demonstrate how you used customer feedback to drive improvements in processes, products, or services. This aligns with business analysts' responsibility for identifying opportunities for improvement. Highlight communication skills such as sales communication and customer presentations. Also, try to demonstrate Knowledge of Business and Market Needs with any Market analysis and research you may have done. Also, check out the following to get ready for answering BA interview questions: ruclips.net/video/0HVwLAG2EXA/видео.html. I hope that helps!
Great video! These tips are quite useful, particularly the one about adapting your resume for the ATS. It's incredible how many resumes get screened out before they're even reviewed. Nevertheless, I have a quick question: how would you stand balancing the presentation of soft and technical skills? I look forward to your next video on interview questions. Thank you!
Analyze the job posting for keywords and skills that are important for the role. Highlight the technical skills the employer is seeking while ensuring your soft skills align with the company culture and job requirements. List your technical competencies in a specific section (e.g., "Technical Skills" or "Core Competencies"). Use bullet points to emphasize proficiency in programming languages, software tools, or methodologies (e.g., "Proficient in SQL, Python, and Tableau").Include soft skills (e.g., communication, leadership, problem-solving) in the same section, or incorporate them into your experience bullet points. I hope that helps!
Very useful checklist not only for the resume, but also to evaluate yourself as a BA
Thank you for that feedback! Glad you found it useful!
I love how you communicate! Thanks for sharing this.
Thank you and you're welcome!
please give an example of the workload tool
Hi Ifiok-Abasi! Thanks for watching. If you are referring to work breakdown structure tools, some commonly used tools are WBS Charts, Wrike, and Creately. PM tools like JIRA usually have a WBS template you could leverage as well. Also, popular diagramming tools such as luchid chart, Smartdraw, and Visio also have WBS templates. I hope that helps.
