What a wonderful song the chiff chaff has. In fact, one of the bird songs I actually recognise. These birds are very common here in Poland. The bird life in this superb video is gorgeous. So many different things to see as well. You must find it difficult to concentrate on other things.
The running deer was fabulous. As were the hares. Everything busy. Thanks agian for producing another beautiful vlog

I’ve been hunting the Chiff Chaff myself these past few days as I hear it everyday. Don’t always get a glimpse though and I didn’t know what bird was making the sound until now, so thanks Vanessa 😁 beautiful vlog too. The cruise footage this week was so relaxing,it must be so nice to cruise there when the weathers right

Good afternoon😊 well I'm so jealous of u what 2 beautiful places u visited Ely & Waterbeach, places l visited many a time when l lived in Cambridgeshire😊. The shots of the wild life were spectacular showing the finest detail. Have u had a new camera? Eack week u produce a excellent vlog then all of a sudden l felt like l was in the film "honey l Shrunk the Kids" looking at the beauty of the butterflies and crane flys like as if l was their size. Hi Simon, you must have loved living in this area. I will hopefully get more time to explore Ely and include it in a vlog. I have got a new camera and I am still getting used to it but I’m finding it’s great for macro filming. I love insects so hopefully, if the weather picks up, more insects will emerge. Alas, the camera is not waterproof so the sun better make an appearance soon! Thank you for your lovely comment and take care🦋🌻

I know here on the river soar and Trent it's in flood. Is the Ouse in flood? Not nice when it's flooded. Makes me nervous Mrs mindful. Lovely vlog as always.

I am just realizing why narrow boating never gained real popularity in the USA. Our canal system is relatively new on the scale of history in comparison with the UK. The few that became icons of transport here did not usually last long once railroads were introduced. So we never had a chance to build a culture around canals and waterways. What a shame.

My plant is called glasnevin and is a potato vine that I almost killed over the winter from frost but I cut it right back and watered it with kind words and a plant feeder, then hey presto, it is thriving! Enjoy your informative vlog. Just curious, do the canals in the UK sometimes have snakes swimming in them? Have you ever come across any in your travels?
