That dude who was asleep at the wheel that immediately started moving after being woken up is terrifying. Bro could have plowed into anything before even thinking.
That´s correct. Driving with fatigue has the same effects as drunk driving with a lower reaction time, bad eye sight, mircosleep etc.. Even window down for fresh air won´t work, because the body is on low battery and needs to rest immediately. Searching for the next possible stop and a little power nap for 15-30 minutes can help and save the own live, not to mention from other road users.
Im not the best driver in the world but I can safely say I've never crashed into anyone before (so far), I HAVE however, been crashed into by 2 people not paying attention.
its crazy to me that so many of these drivers can hear something being scratched, crushed, and grinded while their vehicle is seemingly stuck on something and not even having the thought to stop get out and look
To be honest, I think they're trying to 'get to home/auto shop' before the damage gets too bad. I don't think ANY of them are totally oblivious to the damage. They just don't want to wait for a tow truck (which causes MORE damage to the vehicle than waiting).
If the damage _just_ happened, they might be looking for a good place to stop to safely look at the vehicle. Other people might know they've got damage but their vehicle is their only means of transportation and they might be underwater financially. And then there are the drunks and mentally disabled who shouldn't have driver's licenses at all...
Almost as bizarre as wearing a mask to protect themselves from things outside a vehicle while inside a vehicle all by themselves that isn't dangerous to anyone else.
Whenever you feel like you're not a good driver, just remember that people like this exist and somehow still managed to get a driver's license (though it's also likely they don't actually have one which honestly makes things so much worse)
Especially all the people that mix up the gas and brake and just keep going. I did that once for about half a second, then slammed on correct pedal before I moved more that a few feet
@jonathantadlock-stein2023 Right ?! I think I was crazy for a second, but it takes less than a second to moove your foot so how did they manage to go through stores !
Although the "using the wrong pedal" is a very easy mistake to make. And when you do use the wrong pedal you freak out because the car is speeding up so you slam the pedal that you think is the break but instead just speed up. There are some clips where they held the pedal for waaay too long where they're really at fault, but some clips like that driver who drove into the convenience store at 7:05 is just pure mistake and I wouldn't call that one a "dumb driver". It's all fun and all to look at these videos but at least the pedal mistake one is something that will happen to anyone no matter the skill or how smart they are.
I'm a new driver and I get very self-conscious on the road in fear that I'm not being courteous enough to the other drivers. But then I watch videos like this and feel better about myself.
It's always better to play it both safe and courteous. I've had to learn to stop caring if someone gets cranky because I'm choosing to be cautious pulling out of a parking lot instead of darting out when it MIGHT be safe.
Best advice I can give, as someone who has been both a dumb driver and an angry driver in the past, is that when the engine is on, the ego is off. Slow down and look five seconds ahead. Following distance is to you what altitude is to a pilot - space and time to react. If you have time to honk, spend it steering, braking, or otherwise controlling your vehicle. If the phone rings or chimes, find a safe place to pull over before you check it. If you miss a turn or find yourself in a squeeze, go around - and if your boss yells, ask if he'd prefer you're five minutes late or five days late. Before any maneuver, check your blind spot. And always remember - just because an action is *legal* doesn't necessarily make it *safe*, and you are the one who makes the decision. Not the cop, not the guy behind you with a lead foot and a loud horn, not your parents, not your peers, not your passengers - and certainly not some guy on youtube. Do what is safe, prudent, legal, and respectful, and you're doing better than either party in 90% of dashcams.
I´m happy that I survived the pain of watching this video. What I´ve gathered is: - don´t drive with 3 wheels if you are supposed to have 4 - tie down your mattresses and tarps properly - there´s a special police department for instant karma - double check where the speed and brake pedals are - you might always want to keep a healthy distance to any store front while inside - car washes have a tendency to curse you with bad luck for the next 5 minutes after a car wash - if you can avoid train tracks on your route, avoid them
We had this show called “Canada’s worst driver” where these kinds of people had their licenses taken away until they could prove they were competent drivers. I think we need to bring it back
not that crazy, if you're looking at your phone, driving forward is a bit of a challenge while driving backwards means you can't see your phone and is therefore far safer.
What amazes me even more is that when people accidentally step on the accelerator, which has happened to me about two times in the 2+ years I've had a license is that they don't immediately switch to the brake pedal. I've accidentally hit the accelerator, and when I notice the car doing something I don't want to I immediately hit the brakes to stop anything bad from happening. Yet the people in these videos seem to push it as hard as they can and not let go..
It’s a panic/stress reaction, their body freezes up when they panic (maybe bracing for impact who knows) but it results in them just slamming on the accelerator hard. Could also be because in their mind they were pressing on the brake and as such they instinctively press further on the “brake” but it’s the accelerator. Either or, or both.
I fix garage doors for a living, 97% of our calls are someone reversing into their garage door because they thought they had hit the button to open it, about 60% of those calls they also press the gas instead of the brake when panicking from the noise.
It’s to avoid Netadyne camera speed limit detection I assume. Every CDV (that one) has those installed but some are so broke that it doesn’t produce video so it’s free range.
@BWTSIX I know people who work at A&E (hospital emergency department) and the word "quiet" is banned. If you say the Q word you have to leave the building and come back in.
What's beyond me is how some of these people even made it this far into life, like how are they functioning as adults in the society with a completely empty head like that
@thegrumpytexan yea that would work until you get a corrupt government who just labels anyone who votes against them as these idiots, removing their right to vote.
I am seeing more and more people doing sudden right turns from the far left lane. One cut me off and I nearly plowed into him. I think its because people can't fathom that GPS (a truly wonderful tool, don't get me wrong) doesn't tell you how to drive but helps guide you to your destination.
When the podcaster said "It got so quiet in here" and then seconds later a truck goes through the window. I can tell you for sure he will NEVER say that again because I know I sure as hell wouldn't. 😂
As a professional Semi driver… the semis tipping over is fucking scary, you can be going juuust a little too fast, not realizing, and everything gets turned upside down. As for the rest of these people… Like… learn which pedal is which, and when you accidentally move, fucking switch pedals to stop. The amount of people accidentally hitting gas and then having SEVERAL SECONDS of continuing to push the gas is baffling.
10:18 that train really did the pulling the table cloth out from under the dishes trick. That one car stayed in place in the air for a solid 2-3 seconds
Well, in some places you don't even have to take one. In Florida I took Driver's Ed in high school which basically just teaches you how to park and change lanes. You take a written test to pass the class and that waives all testing for your license. Only thing I had to take was an eye exam.
@GodofMasks They don't even have a driving exam where someone is in the car with you? Pure lunacy. That tracks for Florida though. "Inconvenient for me? Make it convenient and screw safety."
@pretzelbomb6105 only if there are still lots of human drivers if the can comunicate with each other they wont have very many problems or at least way way way way less than humans do
I totally agree, but for the retesting to be manageable, we’d need to greatly lower the driver count, which means massively investing in good transit and walkable urbanism.
Yes, yes, and yes. Public transportation should be so effective and ubiquitous that driving would be an exception. There are actually many places where this is the case. Where it would take you longer to drive than to hop on the tram.
That guy dozing off behind the wheel and then instantly driving when he woke up is scary. He could’ve crashed into anything before he even realized what was happening.
@cormorant_on_arock7934 Dude, if you're falling asleep in a red light, you could have fallen asleep in a worse place. Arguably, some of the guys with their destroyed cars are safer because they might not be able to afford repairs or don't have insurance.
No, the panic reaction is to stomp down, HARD. They usually think they're stomping on the brake when they're not, though some aren't even giving it that much thought.
It happens, every so often, in the city I live, where an elderly driver "mistook the gas for the brake" and 9/11's a storefront (in one case actually killing a 6-y/o) and in every instance they get a $133 fine and that's all. "Oh, poor dear was just confused, oh well." Yet 16-20 y/o's street-race in affer-hours industrial areas & the general public wants them deported or to serve jail time. Seriously. It's complete bulls**t, old people driving cars get away with murder, in some instances literally.
I used to work in a full service gas station. The record for laps on our forecourt is 13. 13 attempts. That lady gave up and left. The record for a man is 3.
One of the first things I remember being taught about driving is that you can always, *always* get off at the next exit. Roads lead to each other. There is no excuse for putting people lives at risk because you missed a turn.
I hope she ends up in prison. Entitled morons like that don't need to be on the road, or in society in general. Thinking she's above the law and can just say 'no' to being arrested? Uh, honey, you ain't important or special.
@moonstruck8245 She probably did, took it from a ticket for a broken light to resisting arrest and assault on an officer. Found the story, her name is Debra Hamil, and yeah, felony resisting arrest and misdemeanor assault on an officer, which can also be a felony. She apparently got 4 years but it was deferred so she never went to prison.
american police are and always will be the most entitled people on the planet. they genuinely believe they are above the law, and in alot of ways theyre right.
Oh man go look up the full video - it is amazing. The fat old Karen has never once in her life had to deal with any consequences and after building up for years they hit her all at once. Best part is when the cop says "you're under arrest" and she just says "no I'm not" as if the cop will just say "oh, shit, you're not? Uh, okay then, damn". LOVE IT.
@alwaysdisputin9930 , that's a question for the ages. I mean, we just aren't all that smart. And to be fair, the rest of the world isn't either; so, we are often the victims of stupidity. Maybe the woman had a point in the first place. And then maybe she didn't feel like she could live her life without the overwhelming despair of always giving in to the tiresome demands, right or wrong.
Some people shouldn't be allowed to do certain things. People need to remember that these are 1-2 ton giant metal tanks that can KO people without much effort.
You are right. People think a driving licence is an entitlement. Some people aren't capable of it. I had a relative who was smart enough to realise she would never be any good at it and stopped driving.
Except there ain't no successful person in the world beside Macaulay Culkin that can't drive. If you don't drive, you're gonna be a designated burger flipper or min wage job at best. So idiots will still drive. Having a license is that pivotal for success and status.
One of the first lessons I learned about driving is that there's always another exit. Roads connect, and missing a turn is never a reason to endanger lives.
what the fuck was even the point of those concrete baracades? that suv plowed right through one and still hit the window, looked like it just snapped off.
They didn't deliberately drive into the water. They mistakenly turned onto the boat launch ramp, saw the water and attempted to stop. The problem is, boat ramps are often covered in algae, which is slicker than ice. They slid into the water.
Panic they don't realize they're on Gas instead of Brake, so all they can think when the car suddenly "moves on its own" is: hit the "brake" harder to stop it. ...I'm debating if it means some people who can't diagnose split second shouldn't be driving; or if it means having the same foot for working both pedals is just dumb design... I can see an argument being made either way.
@kirk2767 Sure, you can hit the wrong one easily...but what goes on into one's head that their first thought when the car is doing the opposite of what they expect i to do is "I have to continue doing what I'm doing, the car will change what it's doing magically" and not "I should change what I'm doing to get the car to change what it is doing"? Normal person: Same input = same output. Changed input = changed output. Those drivers: Same input = different output. Changed input = why would I do that?
Genuinely concerning how people with a drivers license “hit the wrong pedal” and don’t realize hey this one is making me keep going I should let off it 😂
I feel so bad for the people who accidently pressed their gas instead of their brakes. Its happened to me twice, and even though i had the car in park both times, it was still terrifying.
5:39 Judging by the calm reaction of driver in a car filming, they've seen Final Destination and were already morally preparing for this the whole time they were tailing the logger 😅
Good news: the effect of the logs bouncing like in FD was done completely digitally, tree logs just can't bounce like that irl; unless you are in the car directly behing one of those trucks you'll probs be fine
And this appears to not even be the operator's fault. The trailer axle became detached from the frame, effectively reducing the track width to the distance between frame rails.
@user2C47Axel snapped because operator turned too sharp. Those trailers have special air springs to deal with unbalanced heavy load. What did happen was the vehicle turned to sharp/fast causing a sudden shift in weight that got worse till the tires popped on one side, then it's game over from there.
I'm baffled that pretty much everything in this compilation happened in multiple of the videos. Deciding to stop on train tracks, driving down sidewalks, ramming into stuff and not realizing, driving with missing tires/wheels, driving backwards, following GPS directions into what is CLEARLY not a road, carrying stuff into carwashes, losing mattresses, driving without having lowered the truck bed, impaling the side of a vehicle, driving through the walls of a building... how do all of these things happen so often that they're in MULTIPLE videos in this compilation?!
Remember this. Most of these clips capture critical results of dumb actions and are only a few seconds long. Pressing the wrong pedal. Going too fast. Not seeing something. Forgetting something. A few do seem to feature drivers who lack a fundamental understanding of what their car can and can't handle, but it doesn't mean that person is lesser or completely incompetent. It's an incident, a lapse of thought. It's terrible that it happens on the road, but it's also a reasonable probability, especially in America, because driving is required in so many daily routines. It's part of millions and millions of lifestyles. Tldr, every person can have a bad reaction to a mistake, and everyone drives. Hence the viral world of stupid driving.
11:00 If you ever feel stupid, remember that this person tried talking with a slightly raised voice to get the attention of another car instead of using the horn.
16:45 And btw, she wasn't arrested for refusing to pay. You pay later at the courthouse. She was arrested for refusing to sign the ticket, acknowledging that the officer gave her the ticket and she has a responsibility to either pay up or challenge it in court by a certain date. Signing the ticket isn't an admission of guilt, but just the bare-minimum legal acknowledgement that you have been given a ticket. The entitlement is crazy. What's crazier is I bet she's one of those "Law and Order" type of political folks. Probably believes the rules are there for other people, and she should get an exception.
Well stated! Signing the ticket is not an admission of guilt. She also wanted a warning, which is a good sign she knew she was breaking the law but just didn't want to take responsibility.
In Europe, it takes around 6-12 monts of driving with a teacher and then a very difficult exam drive to get your license. I think that might be the reason why most clips in here are from the US
Reminds me of a RUclipsr who did effectively the same thing in GTA 5. Edit: Yeah it was from a channel called "TheFloppyRagdoll", and the video is "GTA 5 STUPIDITY" from 11 years ago.
Jfc I can't even imagine what the train operators must go thru when they see dumbasses on their tracks. Especially busses?? The thought that you could possibly kill multiple people and there's nothing you can do to stop it is absolutely terrifying.
And people wonder why we don't have flying cars.
The future is not quite ready for that
It’s a wonderful day for pie! And there’s a car heading for me in the sky! I was then ran over 78 times… ~in the sky~
In some of these clips, we do
Wym we got sum already yk
Drunk driving.
Ive seen several videos of drunk people falling asleep, so the cops come and park in front and behind them before waking them up
They could have narcolepsy
@AgentDynamic mythbuster?
@isabelle7790Then "they" shouldn't be behind the wheel.
What terrifies me is that I can be the safest driver in the world and still get into accidents thanks to people like these.
That's what I'm saying!!
Im not the best driver in the world but I can safely say I've never crashed into anyone before (so far), I HAVE however, been crashed into by 2 people not paying attention.
Thats why Saudi Arabia is so safe, no women drivers.
good as you should be driving is so sanewashed
And these people can vote…
its crazy to me that so many of these drivers can hear something being scratched, crushed, and grinded while their vehicle is seemingly stuck on something and not even having the thought to stop get out and look
That would be the charging station
To be honest, I think they're trying to 'get to home/auto shop' before the damage gets too bad. I don't think ANY of them are totally oblivious to the damage. They just don't want to wait for a tow truck (which causes MORE damage to the vehicle than waiting).
@Frankie2012channel I bet a few of them are stolen, or illegal in someway the driver doesn't want to deal with.
If the damage _just_ happened, they might be looking for a good place to stop to safely look at the vehicle. I think I'm extremely dumb, but after seeing this video , maybe I'm not so dumb😅
@troytaylor5746 Same
(ꪊꪻ⊂) Its so hard
Making a lot of assumptions here
It just amaze me how many people are driving on the road without knowing where the brake pedal is
It *SCARES me...
And never forget, these people are allowed to vote!

Being conscious enough to worry about being courteous to other driver's is already 3 steps ahead than half of America's drivers 😅 I salute you bro
It's always better to play it both safe and courteous. I've had to learn to stop caring if someone gets cranky because I'm choosing to be cautious pulling out of a parking lot instead of darting out when it MIGHT be safe.
Same that’s why I watch these videos it shows me to not be dumb on the road.
You being new are probably the SAFEST driver out there. Complacency is a brutal truth.
Best advice I can give, as someone who has been both a dumb driver and an angry driver in the past, is that when the engine is on, the ego is off. Slow down and look five seconds ahead. 17:02 “you’re under arrest 👮♂️”
“aheheheh no I’m notttttt 🤭💅”
“Yes you are 👮♂️”
I saw a show when cops pulled over a drunk lady who didn't have a driver's license. She said, one isn't needed to drive. 😂😂😂
@LoveMaskedBanditsYeah, a typical SovCit.
Hola
Has no one noticed the bobble Jesus on the dash? Must have taken the wheel.
Bienvenidos, No Soy Una Idioma Responde Otra Pregunta. Que Hago Sí Tiene De Más Por Ti...
Whats hilarious is that most the people driving down the road in reverse were still managing to drive better than everyone else in the video
That is because they are not bad drivers, they are rednecks having issue with their transmission 😂
bean burrito
@nolan8420ong
Driving backwards like that TAKES SKILL ANS PATIENCE
@PhantomGira they're not bad drivers, they are rednecks having issues with their transmission 😂
I love how so many of these idiots just keep driving, as if the problem will just disappear if they ignore it.
considering they are the problem, i‘m assuming they will disappear if they keep ignoring what‘s going on
it's like the "This is fine" meme
You can always try 😂 God works in mysterious ways right
Gotta commute an hour to work, can't do that if your car is broken.
Just pretend your car is completely fine, get to work, don't lose your job.
I think a lot of them are drunk or on drugs and medications
The dude driving on the sidewalk and beeping at a woman who walks on that sidewalk killed me lol
God bless her for not moving out of the way :')
The nerve of some people... like you're on the sidewalk and beeping at a pedestrian and her dog to move 😭
It was a dumb broad, not a dude.
I would be getting the F out the way.. theres always some psycho somewhere that decides to run over as many people as possible.. crazy world
Entitlement at its finest.
19:00 "you should prolly jump out" commented the family on vacation calmly with a hint of annoyance.
I´m happy that I survived the pain of watching this video. What I´ve gathered is:
- don´t drive with 3 wheels if you are supposed to have 4
- tie down your mattresses and tarps properly

- you might always want to keep a healthy distance to any store front while inside
- car washes have a tendency to curse you with bad luck for the next 5 minutes after a car wash
- if you can avoid train tracks on your route, avoid them
It’s so easy to just not stop on train tracks though.
This is a funny comment
Excellent summary 😂
@grapeyv Yes, but apparently not xD
@grapeyv Yeah, just don't try to beat the train
We had this show called “Canada’s worst driver” where these kinds of people had their licenses taken away until they could prove they were competent drivers. I think we need to bring it back
you seen Kurtis Connor's video on that show?
Everyone was from Alberta no joke, we have the worst drivers ever.
I firmly believe their licenses should just be taken away full stop with no possibility whatsoever to ever get it back.
I love that show lol
I recently watched the complete run of that on RUclips, it's funny as f**k!
“Because imma country girl” is a wild defense for assaulting a cop 😂
People who firmly believe that consequences only apply to others. The video is full of them.
@JohnLeePedimore polish people speak polish! She's clearly american
Right, anyway it's crazy being arrested for a broken light.
@SirPano85 well, it was just a broken light 6 months earlier. Accept the fine, get it fixed = no arrest
Country girls make do.
That flying mattress 100% hurt someone .
What mindboggling is: Some perfectly drive backwards for miles with high speed, while others struggle to drive forward without crashing.
not that crazy, if you're looking at your phone, driving forward is a bit of a challenge while driving backwards means you can't see your phone and is therefore far safer.
What amazes me even more is that when people accidentally step on the accelerator, which has happened to me about two times in the 2+ years I've had a license is that they don't immediately switch to the brake pedal. Either or, or both.
It’s so weird. If it takes your brain that long to realise that you pressed the wrong pedal you have no business driving a vehicle
@Mgl1206 Ngl it pisses me off.
I fix garage doors for a living, 97% of our calls are someone reversing into their garage door because they thought they had hit the button to open it, about 60% of those calls they also press the gas instead of the brake when panicking from the noise.
"this amazon driver didnt realize-" nah. That amazon driver was probably fully aware that they were on a bike path and didnt give a shit tbh
"Gotta stay on schedule! Gotta deliver this package!" lmao. Amazon are slave drivers.
It’s to avoid Netadyne camera speed limit detection I assume. Every CDV (that one) has those installed but some are so broke that it doesn’t produce video so it’s free range.
@majorpwner241 I done it. Not slave work but its not easy either. That guy just gave no fucks.
@majorpwner241I might believe that but there was no one on the road so just not paying attention
@MancoDankoThat might be why a bunch of drivers use the rental vans 😮
It's amazing how people get a driver's license then somehow forget how to drive
00:20 “It got so quiet in here”
Famous last words
@bouncydoodjupiter8798 yes indeed, can believe it’s been 2 years since I was hit
@BWTSIX I know people who work at A&E (hospital emergency department) and the word "quiet" is banned.
If you say the Q word you have to leave the building and come back in.
Yeah, this was set up. Why else would he say that?
@ it wasn’t 😐
"It got so quiet in here"
The humble automobile:
What's beyond me is how some of these people even made it this far into life, like how are they functioning as adults in the society with a completely empty head like that
These people can vote. Just let that sink in.
@itschris2628 Really, if you get caught doing something THAT stupid, you should have your right to vote taken away.
@thegrumpytexanin theory that is awesome, in practice idk how true to ideal it would actually be ngl
@thegrumpytexan yea that would work until you get a corrupt government who just labels anyone who votes against them as these idiots, removing their right to vote.
They're not functioning adults.
3:44 following their GPS, to where? Atlantis?
Trying to drive to Hawaii
You guys made me laugh. 😂😂😂
I thought that was Michale Scott for a second
Undah da sea, baby it's bettah down where it's wettah
I am seeing more and more people doing sudden right turns from the far left lane. One cut me off and I nearly plowed into him. I think its because people can't fathom that GPS (a truly wonderful tool, don't get me wrong) doesn't tell you how to drive but helps guide you to your destination.
"No... we don't have the money for a new tire but, i just came back from babushka's cabin..."
When the podcaster said "It got so quiet in here" and then seconds later a truck goes through the window. I can tell you for sure he will NEVER say that again because I know I sure as hell wouldn't. 😂
"Nobody was hurt" he got his ribs slammed into that table, that hurt like a mf
Backshots from a car is crazy
Silence before the storm
brainrot is crazy @b.i.gsmoke2096
Actually, I'm pretty sure it wasn't a coincidence it got quiet. Everyone, but them, must've seen that thing coming and were holding their breath.
Some of these people are so unaware I'm genuinely astounded they're able to even stand up without falling over every time
Right!
🤣🤣😂🤣😂😅YEP!!
we need to remember that common sense.. isn't actually common
I really wonder how those people were even “smart” enough to pass any driving theory or road test. They just have paid someone for their license.
As a professional Semi driver… the semis tipping over is fucking scary, you can be going juuust a little too fast, not realizing, and everything gets turned upside down.

10:18 that train really did the pulling the table cloth out from under the dishes trick. That one car stayed in place in the air for a solid 2-3 seconds
yesss ikr it's wild how long it was in the air, very mesmerizintg
that was crazy
I think whoever ordered that car should get a discount. Scratch and dent.
hands down the funniest part of the video
"nobody was hurt" yeah right
3:03 might be dumb, but that was some james bond skills
Dude that where insane driving skills i would have crashed 100%
ikr that was really impressive
@39person CHILL GUY?!
Agree. That move were so smooth i'm not even mad 😆
And it barely inconveniences anyone.
The entitlement it takes to respond to "you're under arrest" with "no I'm not" is nothing short of impressive.
“Nuh uh”
It's amazing how many idiots will turn a simple "fix-it" ticket into multiple felonies.
@mr.tweaty😂😂😂😂
She knows her privilege
12:10 Uh sir or ma’am, your car just formed a new sun.
Either that or the car went into campfire mode😊
As someone who is an overly cautious/anxious driver...how the hell did these people pass their license exam?
They weren't stressed and the driving was like throwing dice. Luck for them, bad luck for us: it worked.
Well, in some places you don't even have to take one. In Florida I took Driver's Ed in high school which basically just teaches you how to park and change lanes. You take a written test to pass the class and that waives all testing for your license. Only thing I had to take was an eye exam.
@GodofMasks that is terrifying
@GodofMasks They don't even have a driving exam where someone is in the car with you? Pure lunacy. That tracks for Florida though. "Inconvenient for me? Make it convenient and screw safety."
@GodofMasks Holy shit.. explains why so many people die trying to drive around with no idea how to stay alive.
This video taught me two things:
Dashcams are a wise investment,
And there’s no way self-driving cars could be any worse than human drivers 😂
"No way self-driving cars can be any worse than human drivers"?
Oh, there is. Those human drivers are the ones writing the programming.
Except real people who make a LIVING driving will be replaced
They will be just as bad in completely different ways is the issue.
@PABadger13 i can sure as hell tell you it wont be these idiots
@pretzelbomb6105 only if there are still lots of human drivers if the can comunicate with each other they wont have very many problems or at least way way way way less than humans do
this video is the best argument for retesting all drivers every few years - it's unbelievable how crap some people are at driving
I totally agree, but for the retesting to be manageable, we’d need to greatly lower the driver count, which means massively investing in good transit and walkable urbanism.
@m4sterred853 Doesn’t sound like a problem to me.
Yes, yes, and yes.
Public transportation should be so effective and ubiquitous that driving would be an exception.
There are actually many places where this is the case. Where it would take you longer to drive than to hop on the tram.
@m4sterred853 yeah I agree with the reply above me. Improve public transport to the point where people would prefer it over driving it themselves.
@m4sterred853I live in Europe so this isn't as spooky of a thought as you think :')
That guy dozing off behind the wheel and then instantly driving when he woke up is scary. He could’ve crashed into anything before he even realized what was happening.
Really??? He was the only safe driver in this whole video. ... How many stop signs have YOU run?
@cormorant_on_arock7934 Dude, if you're falling asleep in a red light, you could have fallen asleep in a worse place. Arguably, some of the guys with their destroyed cars are safer because they might not be able to afford repairs or don't have insurance.
IKR😮dang 😂😮
@milesperhour9256you're very understanding & patient- good qualities in a person ❤& especially while driving.
@cormorant_on_arock7934what the f * ever Bruh😮
The guy honking at the girl walking her dog ON THE SIDEWALK gave me road rage and I don’t even drive
I would've crashed out bad
It’s sidewalks rage
(7:09) “ŷěãħ.”
*obliterated the entire fricking gas station*
He seemed so happy with himself 🤣
Read this as I watched the clip lmaooooo
bruh what kind of american walls are those anyways he just went straight through that
@hehea567 Murican walls are like paper
😂😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂🤣🤣😂😂😂😂😂🤣
Those train videos really make me appreciate just how powerful they are
Yeah, that car carrier trailer blew apart quite impressively.
I was on a train that ran full on into a FedEx truck. Barely even felt it. A momentary shudder.
@andyhaley the impact sound was spectacular
Speed + weight
@Opuskrokus Achually, it's mass times speed squared.
So nice to have a witty, informative voice over.
To think that these people passed their driving test, imagine the people that failed
Well in some areas it takes 10min to get it
I mean we’ve all taken it, you’d have to be mentally disabled to not get one.
Except for the one in the student driver car.
I failed because I "held the steering wheel wrong". these people should NOT be on the road 😭
It's easy to memorize something for a test.... comprehension is what's hard for people
It's shocking how many people's panic reaction is to hit the accelerator pedal and stay on it.
"Oh, poor dear was just confused, oh well."
Yet 16-20 y/o's street-race in affer-hours industrial areas & the general public wants them deported or to serve jail time. Seriously.
It's complete bulls**t, old people driving cars get away with murder, in some instances literally.
Legend has it, gas cap lady ran out of gas and is now pushing her vehicle in circles around the gas pump to this day.
Now a man wouldn't fall for such a trick !
That was an interesting exercise in geometry - which she failed.
@mikemiller659 Ha! You haven't met enough men, mate
I used to work in a full service gas station. The record for laps on our forecourt is 13. 13 attempts. That lady gave up and left. The record for a man is 3.
Crazy thing is, vehicles have an arrow on the fuel gauge indicating what side the door is on.
When a cop says you're under arrest, you better believe you're under arrest 😂
One of the first things I remember being taught about driving is that you can always, *always* get off at the next exit. Roads lead to each other. There is no excuse for putting people lives at risk because you missed a turn.
I guess you've never seen a "last exit for 50 miles" sign.
@Jagsox That's just a good reminder to take it.
@JagsoxBetter to drive 100 miles extra than dying.
@Jagsox then dont mess up lol, or u gotta waste 50 miles, better than putting urself and others at risk
You've never been to East Anglia. The next exit will be your last.
"I tried to kick you because I'm a country girl
-And you got tazed for it"
Has got to be one of the funniest lines out there
I hope she ends up in prison.
@ Oooof course. These idiots never see actual prison time, no matter what they do.
“AY TRIED TO KICK YOU BECAUSE IM A COUNTRY GIRL-“
“And you got tazed because of it! :)”
"Got a text from another officer" is said as so matter of fact that it feels like a comedy sketch.
Yeah life can be a sitcom at times 😂
@NeverGiveUp66963 It's uncanny.
Reno 911. Super Troopers.
american police are and always will be the most entitled people on the planet. they genuinely believe they are above the law, and in alot of ways theyre right.
The text:
“Did you get glazed donuts or jelly?” 😂
what the hell are they hauling? a 5 story building? you'd think they'd remember that.
17:11 "And you got tazed because of it" is the funniest thing Ive seen today 😂
@alwaysdisputin9930Gotta weed out the lower genes somehow. Survival of the Fittest seems to ignore us most of the time.
@alwaysdisputin9930 we've done our best to eliminate natural selection so the difference in brain power between people can be pretty huge.
LOVE IT.
@alwaysdisputin9930 hubris, lmao.
10:20 imagine being a passenger, looking out your window, and just seeing a car stare at you
4:38 The sad thing is they reverse parked better than most people but still screwed it up.
they just got really excited
When you actually press the gas pedal after the parked moment
"lemme just park normally, just destroy all these bushes for fun."
Maybe the gas pedal got stuck? Can happen
How rude of you to end the video when I was CLEARLY having a good time😂 best compilation I’ve seen yet THANKS🎉
Some people shouldn't be allowed to do certain things. People need to remember that these are 1-2 ton giant metal tanks that can KO people without much effort.
"KO people" he says
you mean kill people?
You are right. People think a driving licence is an entitlement. Some people aren't capable of it. I had a relative who was smart enough to realise she would never be any good at it and stopped driving.
Except there ain't no successful person in the world beside Macaulay Culkin that can't drive. If you don't drive, you're gonna be a designated burger flipper or min wage job at best.
So idiots will still drive. Having a license is that pivotal for success and status.
@magicsack which is a real problem in our country. it should be standard for a city to have viable ways to get around without a car
legit tanks. compare a modern standard-sized pickup truck with a literal WWII tank, and see which one's bigger.
One of the first lessons I learned about driving is that there's always another exit. Roads connect, and missing a turn is never a reason to endanger lives.
good drivers rarely miss their exit, but bad drivers never do
A good driver rarely misses and exit. A horrible driver _never_ misses an exit.
@humbleevidenceaccepter7712
"Got a text from another officer has to be the dumbest response I've ever heard haha" 17:55
yeah, he didn't get in trouble though!
Not to mention poor guy who got hit wasn’t even in a car. Too bad police get in trouble less bad than citizens.
@escapetherace1943 Not getting in trouble for that is Bullshit. Damages on the bike, probably hurt the bike rider as well.
0:19 I love how he said “it got really quiet in here” and then the car came
Average day in Boston
True
Cool.
🤣
Pronounced as "Booahstun"
"if you're from where i'm from, you'd already be dead"
0:19 “got so quiet in here” gets hit by a car.
what the fuck was even the point of those concrete baracades? that suv plowed right through one and still hit the window, looked like it just snapped off.
@youtubecommenter4213 guess they have to make it thicker next time and no, they are not concrete but hard plastics...
@youtubecommenter4213 Tofu dregs aren't just a Chinese phenomenon.
@youtubecommenter4213i mean it still prevented them from getting severely hurt.. notice how the window didn't exactly shatter
Surprise: a car isnt supposed to bounce off these things. Thats why its only small barricades and not a wall. @youtubecommenter4213
How can a human above the age of 18 listen to their GPS telling them to submerge their vehicle in water before thinking "Maybe this thing is broken."
They didn't deliberately drive into the water. They mistakenly turned onto the boat launch ramp, saw the water and attempted to stop. The problem is, boat ramps are often covered in algae, which is slicker than ice. They slid into the water.
Every one of those drivers thought Harris/Walz would be a good idea too.
0:18 "It got so quiet in here."
Whoever was driving that car: "Allow me."
Those poles that were there prolly saved those kids lives
He jinxxed it
Special guest was late for the podcast
I simply cannot understand “hitting the wrong pedal on accident” and then keeping it down until you plow all the way through something😂
Panic
they don't realize they're on Gas instead of Brake, so all they can think when the car suddenly "moves on its own" is: hit the "brake" harder to stop it.
...I'm debating if it means some people who can't diagnose split second shouldn't be driving; or if it means having the same foot for working both pedals is just dumb design... I can see an argument being made either way.
ikr its actually so dumb lol🤣
If your body is slightly turned, then your foot can easily hit the wrong pedal.
It's literally always an elderly person when this happens
@kirk2767 Sure, you can hit the wrong one easily...but what goes on into one's head that their first thought when the car is doing the opposite of what they expect i to do is "I have to continue doing what I'm doing, the car will change what it's doing magically" and not "I should change what I'm doing to get the car to change what it is doing"?
Normal person: Same input = same output. Changed input = changed output.
Those drivers: Same input = different output. Changed input = why would I do that?
10:18 a very expensive but admittedly cool looking mistake
Spy tf2
The jeep did a little hop lol
@calebmenker988yes
@calebmenker988 Only jeep things!
What are you doin' here?
These are all really good. I like the golf cart running from the police 😂
15:41 "is this real" is such a perfect comment for almost all of those clips
15:12 That's not a dumb driver. That's what I call efficiency
Another comedy for Mr Bean.
Literally Mr. Bean had an episode about this once.
Dude must've been inspired by it.
Let’s face it! There are some people that just should not get behind the wheel of a car!
“It got so quiet in here.”
Car: Let’s make some NOISE-
😂
crazy to think most of these accidents could be avoided completely if people just knew how to break / slow down
How is it so common for people to go:
“Hmm…. This pedal isn’t working…. Maybe I should try pressing it harder….”
Basically styropyro for cars.
people who panic, people like that should retake tests to manage their panicking state so they'll stop doing this
Not ppl... WOMEN.
@TillTheLightTakesUs Ah, yes. Because women don't count as "people". Gotcha.
@TillTheLightTakesUs fr
Genuinely concerning how people with a drivers license “hit the wrong pedal” and don’t realize hey this one is making me keep going I should let off it 😂
This is why "unintended acceleration" happens mostly in cars with automatics ands to really crappy drivers.
@snowrocket and usually old people too.
Also who the hell is hitting the pedal like that in the first place??
Yea, the wrong pedal thing is incomprehensible to me.
@ same here, even when I just started learning I wouldn’t make that mistake 😅
Meanwhile, the smartest drivers get screwed over by those other drivers.
True 🤣
Yup, it's the same at work and life in general.
Eh, could argue they weren't the smartest because they didn't practice defensive driving but yea that's an unfortunality
probably not the smartest. just average everyday people
I feel so bad for the people who accidently pressed their gas instead of their brakes. Its happened to me twice, and even though i had the car in park both times, it was still terrifying.
5:39
Judging by the calm reaction of driver in a car filming, they've seen Final Destination and were already morally preparing for this the whole time they were tailing the logger 😅
@magnusbane420 i think it could depending on how dry the wood and what hardness it has
SO YOUR TELLING ME THAT THESES ACCIDENTS IN FD HAVE A CHANCE OF ATLEAST 20%?
@user2C47Axel snapped because operator turned too sharp. Those trailers have special air springs to deal with unbalanced heavy load. What did happen was the vehicle turned to sharp/fast causing a sudden shift in weight that got worse till the tires popped on one side, then it's game over from there.
0:14 "it got so quiet in here.."
*"hey guys am I late? I thought I heard a quiet podcast "*
LOL
dude jinxed it
@Elephantian-joy Yep
2:01 Bro thinks he's playing GTA.
El Camino activities
Bro is nonchalantly just passing you
And it’s in Australia too 😭
This took place in Queensland right?
As a Texan, this is just daily life
I'm baffled that pretty much everything in this compilation happened in multiple of the videos.
People are really distracted maybe, weird times we are in.😢
Remember this.
@SGHmemories I agree with what you said but a lot of these things are such wild and specific things that I wonder how they happened so many times.
Not to mention TRAIN TRACKS
D.R.U.G.S. Nothing else.
12:12 hot wheels, literally.
Bro I can’t agree more
This wheel is on fireeeee! 🔥
ONG ITS A HOT WHEEL
I love those toys
@dog-e4t-f00dsame
The woman with the GPS is actually a joke from The Office. Like beat for beat. I can’t believe this is real.
This is why space aliens don’t invade earth, They watched this video and realized there isn’t any intelligent life. Can’t fix stupid.
Every driver that was driving in reverse, I just hear Spongebob yelling "Backing up! Backing up! Backing up!"
2:15 “sir did you not see the red light?”
“Nah not really”
"it got so quiet in here" *cutely disrupts silence*
cutely? or accutely? or executely? 🤔
9:37 bro took “free car wash” too literally 💀
11:00 If you ever feel stupid, remember that this person tried talking with a slightly raised voice to get the attention of another car instead of using the horn.
I wouldn't be surprised if she was driving on flat tire herself. Not to mention her priority was recording while driving.
It's not that stupid, they're side-by-side on the road, she's got the window down and is clearly gesturing at the other driver to stop
@frayzard Side? What makes you think someone driving on a rim is looking to their sides, ever?
you can hear the honking tho?
Not as stupid as driving on a bare rim!
"Country girl". Is that supposed to be an excuse for dumb and stuck-up?
I watched the full video. You're spot on... she is one of *those* political folk.
Well stated! Signing the ticket is not an admission of guilt. She also wanted a warning, which is a good sign she knew she was breaking the law but just didn't want to take responsibility.
I have to be imagining things. Is that somebody else on RUclips actually knowing how tickets work!?
When a Karen meets police
The two reasons I'll never drive:
#1: Severe epilepsy
#2: Drivers like this
switch the reasons
Honestly even with severe epilepsy I’d be absolutely more willing to get in a car with you than practically any of these people
@ArkadiaTubeprobably biking and walking
@ArkadiaTube FYI it is also possible to get around by foot, bicycle, e-bike, e-scooter, bus, tram, train, taxi, rideshare etc
@ArkadiaTube to be fair, you're not safe in your house either from drivers like these
In Europe, it takes around 6-12 monts of driving with a teacher and then a very difficult exam drive to get your license. I think that might be the reason why most clips in here are from the US
18:00 "Got a text from another officer" bro said it like it was justified 🤣🤣🤣🤣
jordanphilipperris Nonsense, they investigated themselves and found that he did nothing wrong!
11:33 I respect that woman for being really petty. fuck yeah, I couldn't do it like that
Imagine being so much of an asshole that you drive on the pavement *and* decide to honk at random people walking on said pavement.
Really dangerous and overall not worth it though, you should just record em and send them to the police afterwards, not risking crazy driver behaviour
15:46 this is a huge issue for the sea turtles, who try to eat cars that they mistake for jellyfish.
Are the turtles stupid?
@Stormzulien...
@StormzulienNo, cars are very similar in shape and size to jellyfish
@Stormzulienthey smell the same
@ they taste the same too...
The cars going down the highway with broken parts and sparks are most likely stolen.
3:02 a stupid driver? Yes. a BAD driver? No
That shit was clean af I won't lie
Hey it’s dumbest drivers not worst drivers
yeah that was crazy smooth
Police Will fine Him For ding that👮♂💸💸
Lol I’m not even mad at that one. That was impressive.
18:09 bro has 5 star police on his back
Reminds me of a RUclipsr who did effectively the same thing in GTA 5.
Edit: Yeah it was from a channel called "TheFloppyRagdoll", and the video is "GTA 5 STUPIDITY" from 11 years ago.
💀
He’s proof that driving lessons should come with a ‘return policy 😂
no freaking way that these people passed their driving tests it's mind blowing bro
Jfc I can't even imagine what the train operators must go thru when they see dumbasses on their tracks. Especially busses?? The thought that you could possibly kill multiple people and there's nothing you can do to stop it is absolutely terrifying.
There are dedicated support groups for train conductors, thankfully.
@margotrosendorn6371 oh that's good
It is not the train operator that would be killing the people.
I think that is why they are ever blowing those loud train horns.
Be glad that there are as many bridges to separate trains and cars as there are.
He rlly said "It got so quiet in here" next thing happens a car smashes into them💀💀💀
17:10 I'm a Country girl
👮: you're not a country girl ma'am you're a country grandma
Country girls make do 🌽
@teamaircraft155No 😭
@teamaircraft155 bruh
11:38 😬
