A "Let's Play" would be awesome! I would totally play along. I've been waiting to play this game until they got farther along.
So happy to see every update it makes the animals feel like they’re actually alive with these new animations , and making the parks feel more than a diorama can’t wait for hatchlings next
They even redid the scales to have even more detail on top of the details they already have, these guys are top notch!
This might sound crazy, but I kind of hope they add some kind of human-free way of taking care of habitats featuring those more dangerous animals. Either a penning in mechanic, where a dangerous animal like a large theropod gets put away while the keepers go to work, OR (and this is where this might be a bit crazy) some kind of robotic assistance so that, worst case scenario, you lose a valuable piece of technology and not a human life. Could be a little RC unit, a drone, or even a little humanoid/doglike robot to carry stuff around, like you'd see on those Boston Dynamic videos. I just think, realistically, you would have no chance getting a person to stroll through an enclosure with, at the least, any of the carnivores no matter how good the life insurance is haha
They were thinking of how to implement a special staff role that would accompany keepers into habitats with ¨dangerous´ animals. So this type of security guards would make sure the animals are distracted or kept at bay while the keeper does their job.
This role would double as keeping guests safe too, in case of emergencies
They just updated the trello today. Updates 12 & 13 are going to be big! Especially Update 13!
I'm genuinely so so excited for this update. I bought the game a little while ago on sale, but I haven't actually picked it up yet because I wanted to wait for these sorts of mechanics to be introduced to the game. And now they're almost here! I think its going to breathe some real life into the game, I can't wait!
This game keeps getting better. Just wish it was better optimized
When was the last time you ran it? It's a good practice to boot it up at each update to see what bugs have been fixed and how optimisation is being done. Obviously it's still Early Access but you must also know that creative park simulation games require particular hardware. So demanding it should be playable on a 10-year old device is not actually calling for better optimization.
@@NewAge374 my hardware is not top notch but is also good. Rtx 3050 laptop, i can play most games very good but prehistoric kingdom lags a bit. In comparison, planet zoo, baldurs gate 3 runs fine on high.
@@hamiltonsaraiva I too play from a laptop RTX2060.
Indeed you won't reach 60FPS but I find around 30FPS is acceptable for building and running a park way into having over 100.000 pieces placed down. The animal AI is extremely efficient, guests will probably receive the same treatment, but it's the graphical computation that requires more power.
Also this type of game will not make you ´lose´ when it lags, it just becomes slower.

I don't know if you still enjoy livestreams but maybe doing one or two as you're getting started could attract the attention of more seasoned players and even developers to help you out with your immediate questions.
Both Leaellynasaura and Plateosaurus are quite known in popular media for their portrayal in the epic Walking With Dinosaurs documentary from 20 years ago.
Although its age shows because they thought that sauropodomorphs like Plateosaurus should have moved to quadrupedal locomotion quite early to evolve into the massive sauropods of the Jurassic, while current research shows that the hand and arm bones would not have supported their adult weight. Also the little gremlin was given feathers because that seems to help out when you life in sub-zero, no-sunlight conditions for months.

I would love to see some gameplay. I’ve been waiting for more features like this to be added. Maybe it’s time for me to finally buy the game.

I'd love to see play for park management. That's how I would play if I didn't only have a Mac. So I'd love to see that type of play and I'm very excited to see the management system in this game.
