I find it hard to believe that people that use their hands and tools for a living have such a hard time finding good tools. If people work with their hands they know to use good tools. For micro screwdrivers those names are: Wera, PBSwiss, Wiha, Felo, and Witte.

Really ❤️ the fact that you included your everyday/vastly common micro tools vs. the quality goods!

Nice tool . I have a nice set of Wiha microbits with ESD driver . Not torque but still nice. If I used the precision drivers daily I would definitely invest in that Wera. Looks sweet. Thanks for vid

i actually prefer a more compact driver and the metal ones feel more solid in the hand. downside is as you mentioned is that they roll too easily off the workbench during repair.
although the quick release function is handy i find it more convenient to just grab a seperate driver (pentalobe, philips, flathead) instead of constantly changing the bits

+Justin Tran Yeah I prefer to have my top three separately and ready to find easily but I did want to demonstrate the quick release as it is very smooth and secure. What brand are you using? Ill be reviewing more in the future.

i've had a lot of success with the Tekton EveryBit stuff. Only issue I have is when I need very long extensions, you end up having to buy dedicated long precision screwdrivers. Although this is kinda the issue with most brands anyways.

Thanks for uploading these videos. I can certainly understand your passion for good quality tools. "Quality Is Remembered Long After The Price Is Forgotten ..." But, damn! I just ordered some Moody Tools Set Of 4 JIS Type Drivers ESD/58-0319 from eBay for $20. I've got a couple Galaxy S6 Edge batteries to replace, and that's about it for a while. If these JIS tips work as well in these micro screws, as they do in the #2 size, I'll be one happy camper. No chance of stripping the heads at all!

It's because its a precision torque screwdriver, pretty reasonable price for what it is. Its worth it if you're using it all day everyday, you could easily pay for it doing one repair

Hi, great review. Only you did not state which specific size Wera screw driver is best for mac books and other laptops. I went to your affiliate's website from your link, however they don't list that info on their page either. Also, in your description you state that Wera is a German company, but on their website they indicate that they are from the Czech Republic. I'm confused because they are two different countries. Infact, Hitler and Mussolini invaded and occupied Czechoslovakia from 1938 to 1945 during which time Hitler forced the annexation of Slovakia. Hitler's occupation did not end until after Germany's surrender to the Allies following WWII.

Wera is a German company, they have their HQ, calibration lab and one of the production lines in Wuppertal. They do have a production facility in the Czech Republic but that belongs completely to Wera, so no, that's not a different company, even their name is Wera Werk. That's where they make the kraftform kompakt sets for example. Since the quality checks take place in Germany and the products leave from their HQ, we can surely say they are a German brand with production in two places.

I'm from Germany and i can assure you, Wera is a german company and one of the best manufacturers of hand tools. Wera tools are the only ones which are certificated by Lufthansa and german air force to be used in maintaining their aircrafts.
I own some Wera tools myself and use them quite often. It is just a complete other quality level compared to all that chinese tools. Unfortunately, all that comes along with a quite expensive price. But Wera tools are worth every penny.

If you spend $100 at KC Tools they will give ya a free shirt, maybe you could ask for a Wera shirt instead of the KC Tools shirt that's free, I just found out they don't sell Wera shirts

Welcome. The reason I like them is they are metal. And the end spins more freely compared to plastic handles. They have a good feel in the hand and the tips have a decent hardness. I use mine every day.
