Hi Mountainarena, I agree the views from Slioch are stunning and certainly up there with a view other tops in the same area. Many thanks for watching. Cheers, Charlie
Hi Dave, Glad you enjoyed our latest outing. This November has been quite good on the weather front but it was just a matter of hitting the right window. Cheers, Charlie
Hi Michelle, Was that not a cracker of a day and such a terrific area for walking. I've always been fortunate with views from Slioch and the views never fail to impress. Cheers, Charlie
Cracking video Charlie, stunning day with amazing views 🏔🏔🏔 some great camera positioning 👌 brought back some great memories of my own hike up Slioch 🏔 Superb 👏 atb Brian 👍
Stunning Charlie & co absolutely stunning, makes it all worthwhile when you get wonderful conditions and views like that from the summit. Hoping to get that one in the bag next year charlie. Thanks again for sharing, top notch.👍🏔☀️🏴 ATB Frank.
Hi Frank, It was just one of those Autumn days that was more like summer. Certainly one to be left for a clear day to fully appreciate the views. Cheers, Charlie
Stunning video, Charlier. This is a wonderful mountain and the views are truly magnificent. One of my favourite areas that I haven't visited for some time. You chose a really good day with fabulous weather and light. This is one of the best times of year to be out when the weather comes good.
You had a great day for it Charlie. This was one of my first Munro's. I'd climbed Alligin the day before... that would be almost 40 years ago! Thanks for taking us along, cheers Alistair 👍
Hi Alistair, Really glad you got a memory blast from Slioch and hope you had similar views from the top. It's certainly one of the classics. Cheers, Charlie
The mighty Slioch, which I have been fortunate enough to do twice. The second occasion with my eldest brother when went out to the Munro Top, which for him was his compleation of the Tops. I love the basin area before the climb. You captured fantastic 360 degree views, quite stunning. A day to cherish. Loved the video, thank you very much.
Hi Jonathan, Glad our outing gave you a happy memory burst of your experiences on Slioch. It's one of the classic tops which is best left for a clear day. Take care, Charlie
I'll never forget Slioch, one of my early Munros. I looked across Loch Fada to Fisherfield and wondered if I would ever get there. A wild goat browsed below. You must be delighted with our responses to this excellent video, Charlie. Many, many thanks.
Hi Geoffrey, Its always great that others get enjoyment from watching our outings and can also use them as a resource for planning there own days out. Cheers, Charlie
Fantastic view. Superbly crafted video. I climbed Slioch in ca. 1982, but such was in the mist. Though I claim to have climbed all the Munros, this one I am not so sure. From memory there were lots of cairns dotted around, and I was not confident that I was at the actual summit.
Hi Malcolm, The one thing about Slioch is that you certainly can't walk passed the summit. I wonder how many turn back after the trig point thinking its the tops when in the clag? Cheers, Charlie
Hi Debbie, It was just one of those days when it all comes together. I've always been lucky with Slioch so great that yesterday didn't disappoint. Cheers, Charlie
What a fantastic walk, and an incredible film - one of your best due to the light and the phenomenal scenery. Great to get such views and such mild weather in November in the Highlands. Thanks again. Murdo
Stunning scenery on a fantastic days walking you are definitely keeping the weather gods happy with a back hander somewhere 😀 are you and Mike retired from work to pick the days you do, well done for a cracking video footage 😀 .
Hi Phillip, Yes, we are in the midweek old farts group that have the option to walk outside the weekends. Yesterday was a great way to spend a Monday in contrast to the normal working week. Cheers, Charlie
Wow Charlie that was a fantastic video showing the stunning views could watch this over and over again ! Well done for catching such lovely scenery in our beautiful Scotland 🏴thank you for sharing take care .
Slioch is an amazing mountain, especially when the weather plays along, and is an exceptional viewpoint to the other ranges. Can there be anything better for the soul than getting away to some of these remarkable places I wonder. Great video Charlie. Thoroughly enjoyed this, as Slioch is a personal favourite. All the best chaps.
Hi David, Glad you enjoyed a memory blast from yesterdays outing and I agree Slioch is certainly special and one of Scotlands classics. Cheers, Charlie
Fantastic Charlie, super video, what stunning views from the tops. We are off in to the hills today, so hopefully we get some similar views although it’s looking a little misty at the moment. Thanks for sharing your day as always. 😀🥾⛰🏴
Folk thought I was mad wanting to drive 4 hours there and back to bag this one a couple of months ago. I watched your previous one of Slioch and it had to be done, probably the best I’ve done so far.
Hi Greig, Your were right to pick your day for this one with views not to be missed. The driving is soon forgotten when you've had a rewarding day. Cheers, Charlie
Fantastic! Have only been up there once and the weather was appalling, will need to head up again sometime now that I have seen how good the view is. Many thanks for sharing, all the best - Davie.
Hi majornova, I always remember when working the good hill days were generally through the week which is really frustrating. We have a wee bit more choice now which is just dandy 👍 Cheers, Charlie
Great video. I find you two (three!) quite inspirational. Can I be cheeky and ask what age you guys are? Also, do you do any other kind of fitness work or is it just the mountain 'workouts?'. Thanks and I understand if youd rather not answer.
Hi Deekay, Mike and I are a few months short of 67th birthday, now that's a scary thought. We generally walk in our local hills approximately three times through a normal week on a route which is 13km with 650m of height. It all helps in keeping the legs going for the bigger hills. Cheers, Charlie
Beautiful video Charlie. Thanks a million for posting.
Hi Craig, Glad you enjoyed our latest outing. Many thanks for watching. Cheers, Charlie
You got a belter of a day for one of the Munros with the best views in my opinion. Well captured and thanks for posting. All the best

The view of the massif when you turn into the Corrie was captured well. Struggling to think of a better viewpoint than the summit of slioch. Gordon
Hi Gordon, The Slioch viewpoint is similar to a few other tops in the same area but absolutely stunning when you hit the summit cairn. Cheers, Charlie
@@charliemccartney7055 yes. The view back into the FF from slioch gave it the edge imo. Gordon
