16:05 There actually is an outside camera for the A350-900. I took a Thai airways one and it was under 'flight information'. They either removed it on this LATAM plane or simply forgot. Either way there is a outside camera at the tail of the beauty. (I found a camera on a Thai airways Boeing 777-200LR Facing the underside of the fuselage. So technically during landing you can see the runway on camera.... pretty useless...)
"Can you sleep in Economy Class" -> It's hard, I managed to sometimes, especially when I had the whole row for myself as you did! Overall an almost perfect flight! The 3-3-3 layout makes the A350 the second best aircraft to fly in Economy in my opinion. I would add the 777 when it has a 3-3-3 layout as well, but much too noisy. In addition you almost had your own private jet! :D The IFE could have been better. But some other airlines also have much much worse! I also did not have a second service on my last flight with them (DOH-FRA) but I did on my CDG-DOH. A bit disappointing not to have a second service on such a flight, even if it's just a sandwich. Thanks for sharing!
Very nice trip report on my favourite airline...very well done: great cam work and nice and informative sub titles (the way I try to do it hehe). Mind you, this is a LATAM aircraft and Oryx should be better on their own A350. I also suppose you dont drink alcohol and missed their nice wines. And if you were hungry late in the flight: just go back to the galley..put your nicest smile on to their sweet FAs..tell them you are still hungry..and ask for a second meal in case there was something left after they finished their own meal..it works:)
I liked the way you kept in mind every little small things when it comes to a flying experience atleast for someone whod be travelling in any airline for its respective "FlightExperience" Great Job. Yeah, I live in Doha and travel by Qatar Airways pretty often and was keen to not only watch a review of the LATAM jet, but also to see what difference has the Code-sharing agreement brought to LATAM. The Qatar Airways flights flight experience and also their IFE is way way way better and really good.

Best sleep --> NYC to SFC in a 747 morning flight, i slept on a 5 seats row for 4 hrs like a Baby. ;-) 18:05 on every flight/ airline you can ask the crew for a Sandwich or some more snacks. Often they give it you for free! Thats my expierence. Finaly, Qatar Airways looks like a Airline i would book. I look forward to travel to Japan this year maybe over Doha to Tokyo ;-)

Great video - But would you expect hot towels from a 5 star airline, on ecnomy class before take off ?? Only airline i experienced that, was on singapore back in the mid 90´ies. Don´t get me wrong, I would love to get hot towels everytime flying in economy before take off :)

I once flew on a *747* with just about 30 passengers! Air France, Buenos Aires to Rio de Janeiro, many years ago, when they had just a few weekly flights to South America, all with stops, and they had fifth-freedom rights between Brazil and Argentina, but few people knew it and even fewer booked them. And it was a 747-100, first series! Air France already had the stylized French flag tail livery back then, but my plane was so old that it still had the old livery with just the blue cheatline. I suppose they were going to sell the plane soon and it wasn't worth to paint it. Very primitive amenities by today's standards, no IFE, not even overhead monitors, but the legroom was better than in many so-called "business classes" of today, and of course the food, drink, and crew service were fabulous. One of the best flights I've ever had.
Sind letztes Jahr auch mit Qatar geflogen, nach Thailand, über Doha und der Flug war genauso leer. In 4 Wochen gehts mit Qatar nach Bali, mal sehen wie gut der Flieger diesmal besetzt sein wird.
Newcastle Flyer Why not? They help a OneWorld member, they have the latest airplane and a quite new one and qatar also has some a350 too which means they can just put their own pilots on the plane
The A350 is very new and scarce, so it's not easy for an airline to get one, because there are still few of them flying and it will take time for Airbus to produce a large number of them. If LATAM wanted to temporarily dispose of some, that's a great opportunity not to be missed by a major airline like Qatar.

Ich hasse den A350, viel zu leise. Leise Flugzeuge sind nicht immer so schön, wie viele meinen. Sind die Triebwerks- und Windgeräusche sehr leise, hört man die Geräuschkulisse der Kabine (das Klappern von Servicewägen und Geschirr, das ständige Öffnen/Schließen von Gepäckfächern und Toilettentüren, weinende Kinder, schnarchende Sitznachbarn etc.) umso intensiver. Und das empfinde ich als sehr störend, vorallem wenn man auf längeren Flügen schlafen möchte. Das monotone Rauschen der Triebwerke im Flug finde ich dagegen viel angenehmer, deswegen habe ich es viel lieber, wenn die Geräusche des Fliegers selbst etwas lauter sind und die Kabinengeräusche übertönen.
i fail to understabd of why people make a long video and then fast forward it!!! it is annoying by far, and i believe it takes away from truly enjoying a Real flight report.

We know that there is usually a camera on the A350. That‘s why we were surprised that it‘s not there on LATAM

The a350 seems to have better leg /feet room than Boeing 787 due to no IFE box being at one side under chairs. Big improvement!

This flight was during Ramadan, so that's why the flight was that empty.
No second serving on a 5 hour flight? Strange. When I flew DOH-BUD, we had two servings. A full meal and a sandwich. I found it really impressive.

Fliege den selben Flug und Sitz im September.
+mkrs500 Pass und Sicherheitskontrollen gehen in MUC entweder sehr schnell oder man braucht ewig (bis zu 45min). Aber das ist unabhängig vom Flug.
