FINALLY!!!! An honest, intelligent, and insightful review of the AVP. I subscribed based on this video alone. I agree with every single syllable uttered, and look forward to future content! Thank you!
Instead of bais so called review that only have it for 14 days because 💵 and views, some even called their video a review without trying the product 🤢🤮
I am delighted with my AVP, but the thing is, *I bought it lightly used for $2000* At that price, no brainer. Let the original owner eat the depreciation. At $3500 retail? Nah. Not for my needs.
Always appreciate your clear, concise approach… Also I completely agree with you on access to the masses (your everyday consumer) …to this day I’m in the NYC Metro area, right in NJ, and with all the fast trends and tech, fashion etc, I hear no one speak of it at all. It’s turned fallen into the “IYKYK” zeitgeist. I still don’t know one person personally who own or even aspires to own one. Leaving a level of detachment almost on a societal level of those who have and have not per se, furthermore… they still cannot even determine why they would even want one, still getting questions like; What does it actually do? Appreciate your open content again, outside of Reddit, your channel is a voice for those, like myself a user. P.S. Thank you for the non “influencer” insight and sharing your true experience.
it's for watching movies esp like IMAX 3D, Netflix supercut app and RUclips, enjoying memories esp reunions or travels...esp seeing older photos/memories converted to spatial photos, Music videos or concert videos
Guilty as charged: I am the only Vision Pro user in my life. That said, I simply adore this device. I took it to London a few months ago to record those treasured memories of friends and family - Spatial Photos and videos are brilliant 🤩 I use this device everyday to surf the internet, emails, message and FaceTime. Can’t wait to upgrade my 2014 iMac this autumn for an M4 Mac. Thanks for the insights!
Thank you so much for your insights my friend!!! I was just watching your review from a few months ago yesterday. You timed this perfectly with the international Vision Pro launch tomorrow. I’m in Canada and going to pick up my pre order tomorrow morning! I can’t even explain how painful it’s been waiting almost a full year to try this for the first time 🤣
My vision Pro is due for delivery in a couple hours and I'm still watching reviews lol. Good to see this is still being used for productivity as many other reviewers have admitted to not touching theirs in weeks/months
I’d recommend the dual band. The solo band was horrible for me. Also, there is a bit of a break-in period. Apple actually suggests using it for only 30 min or so at a time for the first few days.
@@VisionProforNerds Comfortability hasn’t been great for me either even with the duel band. Find it far too heavy for any reasonable amount of productivity and realistically there aren’t more than 10 useful apps atm. Respect the effort from Apple but they’ve released this 1-3 years too early. I almost feel like they should be paying *us* to test this for them. The immersive content didn’t disappoint though, almost brought a tear to my eye lol
Hello everyone! I'm planning to make a drastic change to my Mac Studio setup. Right now, I'm using the Studio Display, but I want to switch to the Vision Pro. I tested the device in the Apple Store and initially had some trouble reading because I was wearing it wrong. But when I adjusted it properly, it looked really amazing! Additionally, I want to replace the Mac Studio with a MacBook Pro M4 Max as soon as it comes out. I really need the power of that chip for my work. The compactness of the MacBook Pro combined with the immersive display of the Vision Pro seems like the perfect setup to me. Does anyone else have similar plans? I'm curious about your opinions and experiences with these products. Let me know in the comments!
Hey! Great topic! I personally basically use my Vision Pro like this already, even though I have a Mac studio set up with a 27 inch and a 21 inch monitor. The only downside I experience is from time to time if I’m really pushing the limits of my MacBook the Mac virtual display starts to lag a little bit. Besides that it’s great, and I can see this definitely being a very normal scenario in the future for most people.
Great video. I have a question about “environments”. What happens when you choose a panoramic photo, enlarge and push it back. Can you put other windows in front of the panoramic photo? I’m asking because we hear panoramic photos are breathtaking and the “environments” are limited to the Apple provided and a couple of app specific locations. If you can put windows in 3D space in front of panoramic photos and pull up white noise or nature background sounds, “environments” should be limitless.
Hey! So you can't do that. If you have a pano open its in an immersive state and if you try to open the app screen it minimizes the pano. Would be great thought!
@@VisionProforNerds thanks, that explains why no one has ever mentioned doing it. I wonder why the software limits users to open windows in one immersion environment but not another.
If your doing work are you limited to just 2hour battery or can it be on ongoing charge while in use to extend use past a couple of hours ? 2nd have you watched a Film with it if so what was it like on a big screen.
Hello! Yes you can use it while charging and use it all day if you want. Yes I have seen many movies on it and it’s amazing. Feels like you’re in a movie theater.
Was kinda bummed out u said nothing about using it to watch movies/ shows. Likely coz u don't use it much for that but I was hoping you'd have stuff to say.

Just got mine this morning. Bit of physical discomfort but still blowing me away for now. Let’s see how we go over the next few weeks.
Yea I don’t get that you don’t use it anymore. I’d say these are the RUclipsrs who bought it just to review it haha.

1 month later… do you regret your purchase or love it?
Great Review and Very accurate, As an AVP owner I agree with everything you say. you put it across very well.
Thank you for the review, very helpful. I was thinking of getting it but have an M1 MacBook Pro and your comments made me rethink the purchase.
Agree on essentially every point 🙌
Thanks for the review! Agree on the price point, looking forward to a more consumer friendly cost.

all this futuristic shit you seen in the movies, are all coming into fruition.

Is Chrome or Edge available for use as well or not at this stage ?
