Most most melodious song . Special thanks to The seekers members for contributed us and the music 🎶 world very very melodious and beautiful song . My grandfather's always favorite singer is JUDITH DORHAUM (1943-2022). My grandfather always said me about the seekers. The seekers is 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Australia The seekers is always best forever for my grandfather.
The legends that are 'The Seekers' still outshine groups today. Grew up listening to this wonderful group. I used to sing 'Morningtown Ride', to my younger siblings to get them to sleep, back in the day. Still sing this classic, to this day. There will never be another group like the seekers. Australia should be proud of them all. Second to none.
Found the Seekers April 5, 2021. Somehow missed them when I was a teen in the 60's. Love their music! Never gets old. Beautiful voices. So lucky to have their recordings. God bless them all!
Hear, hear!! I think the two most astounding things about their sound are: 1. Judith 2. The way Athol's, Keith's, and Bruce's voices blend with Judith's into an utterly seamless, incomparable whole. Fred
Have loved this group for many years. Judith has such a beautiful voice, such a natural. What an amazing singer! Harmonies of this group is outstanding.
Absolutely! I grew up listening to them in the 60s. For the last few days I've been binge-watching videos of The Seekers. I'm so saddened that Judith passed away.
I always loved the Seekers. The sound is so pleasing, soulful, and totally unique. I am thankful I had their music to enjoy in those years of my young life.
An amazing and beautiful group! I remember them well from the 60s. I still have their yellow piano music album which has all their hits in it. I met Judith back in the 90s and she is a most beautiful person. I will always love the Seekers!
Love to listen to the seekers and watch them on either you tube or video. There sings and the voice of Judith calms me down. Just wish I could have seen them when they were in London. Love listening to calling me home and it's hard to leave.Judith has such a powerful voice, just wonderful with the three men
Her voice is so fantastic the pure tone grabs you. Always in my heart I love the seekers from the beginning and would love to see them again. Thank you for sharing.
Steve Moore Greetings from your namesake and fellow 'The Seekers' fan. I agree that they are a truly great group with lovely, timeless songs. I enjoy their music, too.
11:08 To be Honest, "The Water is Wide" is my favourite song from The Seekers... I absolutely adore Judith's voice... But that song means more to me, how thrilled I am to hear Judith sing along as well! 🙏❤️
I’ll always remember my mother taking me to my first pantomime, at the Globe in Stockton-on-Tees, and the supporting artists were the Seekers, who were unknown. In the interval they sang “I’ll never find another you” and it’s stayed with me all my life. Before Covid, we used to get together in a local pub for a musical evening, and “Walk with Me” is sung regularly.
The first time I heard the Seekers and their first hit single "I'll never find another you" was thru BBC radio (around mid-1960s). The radio prog was British Top 20. I remembered the prog came on air every Monday 7pm (Singapore time), My family owned a National portable radio operated with dry batteries. This song was when catchy and one of their members played a 12-string guitar.
La voz de judith la recuerdo cuando yo tenia 8 años y su voz intacta q alegria verla a mis 62 años y verlos atodos ellos de chile daniel los saluda❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you Rich for the Wonderful Christmas present. I could have waited to open on Christmas but I didn’t and I know I will enjoy this for many years. Hope you have a Wonderful Christmas and again Thank you.
@@pattistilwell7424 Merry Christmas as I wanted to let you know that I received your Christmas greetings. Hopefully you are doing well. Have a wonderful day.
rich963, I'd like to thank you for posting all of these videos of The Seekers. I'm curious, though. What is your relation to this group? You seem to have a lot of video of them.
Rich, what do you know of the chances that the 1968 farewell special will ever be available in the colour it was shot on? And stereo hopefully. Thanks for all your great work with this superb band!
Thanks again, Rich! To paraphrase the late Ronald Reagan, I think the second most eternal thing on this Earth has to be The Seekers! Looking over your list of songs that are in this video, I think you missed one - _Louisiana Man,_ a song I first remember hearing covered by Rick Nelson around 1967±. Oh wait! And _The Carnival Is Over._ And _I Am Australian._ And are there maybe others? But I'm guessing you ran into the size limit imposed on the Description section by YT. There's just so much wonderful music in this video!! Fred
Depends where you are, but the best way I've found is to search on Google for 'Seekers live in the UK DVD' 👍 If you're in Australia, you can get it direct from The Seekers' official website, but postage to the rest of the world is high.
@@TerryGrimes I hope this helps: this was several years ago (2017 actually), but I purchased the 25 Year Reunion Celebration from Amazon UK for around 12 pounds. The thing to be careful about is whether or not you have a DVD player that will play the correct DVD region. If you are in the US you can buy an inexpensive PAL player, which is what I did. Included is some bonus tracks from their Future Road album. How much things have changed in the last five years I don't know.
RIP Judith. You are loved and will be missed. Thank you for sharing your beautiful voice.

Don't forget their loyal American fans. I've been a Seekers fan since their first hit single in 1964. My favorite folk-rock group.
I have liked them since I first heard them on the radio in early 60's in US.

As a young kid " Georgy Girl" was played heavily in our household. That song especially reminds me of a happy time. 😎👍
So sad,. We lost Judith last week. Her singing remains for our children and grandkids. Something to remember.
