It has nothing to do with withholding information from us. It's so they can get all the possible information they can so there isn't conflicting news reports. We will know in about half an hour.
Lots of talking heads talking about how they feel about "the Incident" and how they heard about "The Incident" and not a word about WTF actually is happening, Do they pay you people by the word?
It's because they have nothing to report so they essentially fill up the air with ... well ''air'' to try and keep people interested. If they really have nothing to talk about they'll start to veer off any tangential semi-related issue for hours on end.

Speculation on what happened so far is that 'someone' reported seeing a firearm and then things escalated from there - my best guess is that a nosy neighbor SWAT'd the guy and then buddy lit up the cops when they showed up + it got worse from there. IMO.... until I find out more about the 'other victims' , besides the one RCMP that died.

Although we unfortunately experience this here in the states way too often, I hate to see it happen in areas that aren't accustomed to mass shootings. To those affected, my prayers going up for you and the families that now are having to process loss of life. I hope one day more focus on mental health will be looked at accordingly. So many firearms, we have to look at not restricting something that won't matter but realizing why some individuals get to a point to where they want to take as many lives as they can.
That statement was incorrect. We locals, in that area, knew last night what was going on. We saw police everywhere. We were very aware and could hear the gunshots and see the fire.
Oh no. As a retired psychiatric technician/nurse, I am thinking there is a deep, severe, mental health crisis here. My heart is broken. And in the middle of a pandemic, this is just devastating. I have family in Nova Scotia. 😟😢

It's just unbelievable what's going on in the world now. The amount of chaos this pandemic has brought is crazy. I'm afraid more cases of people breaking into other peoples homes will start becoming more common. The police officer doesnt even know what happened and he admits it in the video.

Alerts went out last night across Colchester County. I live in that area, I knew about it before I went to bed. So, if they didn't hear about it before they woke up this morning then something happened on their end, with the technology or whatever. RCMP do the best they can. I for one am thankful for all the officers that responded & did the best they could with the information on hand. It's a rural area with a lot of "hiding" places & lack of good distance sighting which you would want if someone was picking you off.
