For curls I would advise to not brush your hair, you can run your fingers through it under the shower with conditioner, but brushing it will damage the curls, also dont dry your hair with a towel! The fabric damages your hair, if you want to dry it, use a t-shirt or soft material. You will see a result in a few weeks!

First u need to balance the protein in ur hair (especially if you lighten your hair) to bring the definition back and then moisture afterwards. maybe get a hair mask with protein once a week, and a light hydrating shampoo and conditioner. dont over-do either as this will compromise your texture! theres tons of videos about how to find your balance. Most important is no sulphates or silicones in your wash products. Shea moisture is a good brand but some products are too heavy. Pureology sheer hydrate is amazing for beachy hair. Only brush ur hair in the shower, and try and keep the hair in clumps when you're scrunching in the products. The best ones for hair thats wavey with a few curls are the ones that don't weigh it down! try Eleven Australia keep my curl cream, devacurl wave maker or a mix of l'oreal stylista curl tonic and a salt spray for a beachy look. if you dont like the wee fluffy bits around your baby hair, try smoothing just the root to ear section of the front section around your face in a middle part and tucking it behind your ears to let it dry a little neater. also putting it in a loose braid at night or when its a bit damp can stop the frizz and help add shape :) that was a lot but hope it helps x

Curl creams are very helpful too!
