no, you cant be putting any cleaning agent liquids in, it will affect the mechanisms of the cleaner, so everything is done by just water.
The spot cleaner can use on hard surface? Or only for carpet and upholstery?
you can use it on a hard surface, though I think it's not as effective. Depending on the surface, if it's marble, I think the window cleaner will be better
Did you just put the water containers into a bag pack while cleaning the window?

how does it deal with alot of long hair?
in my use, it just sucks it in and you'll have to detangle it eventually when you're cleaning the roller brush
