I added a MTD snow plow and in light snow this does a good job. Also just added a cub cadet snow cab and sun shade unit today. It doesn't go down to the hood at top but that's o.k., if it did you wouldn't be able to raise the hood to add gas. However, you can add fabric and just move it out of the way when gasing up. Like the Xt1 and Xt2 you have to add gas inside the cab with a long neck funnel. I like it to keep the snow off you. Home Depot $369 free shipping. The slit on the side allows access to raise and lower the plow and use 3/4" spacers on the back to connect to frame. Setup is easy.
Do it best hardwares sell these, I think around $1259. I use a yard machine push mower and it's been fantastic for the price. Always starts on 1st through 3rd pull. Looked at pretty cub cadet but they leave their machines out in the rain at that dealer and you can see rusty areas.
Thanks for the video. I have one that I picked up, not running. It didn't have any paperwork with it, but I think it is about a 2019. I pulled off the carburetor to try and clean it up, but neglected to take a picture of the linkage and how it was connected up. Now I can't figure out how it is is supposed to be. I cannot find any info on it online and I am in need of a photo of the top of the carburetor linkage hooked up, so that I can get it back running again. My Model number is 13AB775S00, Thanks.
How do you mow in reverse? I bought one and returned last week due to no mow in reverse. I found exactly the one you have but a bit skeptical to order it.
There is a connector under the mower that you take out of the system. The instructions that come with the mower tell you how to do it. It's simple. Took me less than five minutes to do it. Cheers.
Michael Chapman how does it do as far as cutting does it bog down or anything like than could you do a video of it running im gonna be getting one of these on tuesday from Aaron's
I mow every two weeks and I haven't had any trouble with it bogging down. Of course it is a basic riding mower. If you let your yard get six seven inches high then I'm sure it would have trouble. For me it's been great going from a self propelled walk behind for the last nine years. Make sure you are getting the updated one that has the 439cc engine instead of the 420cc engine though. I got mine at Southern Chainsaw and Mower Parts in Henderson, NC.
Just looked. If your Aaron's has the TroyBilt 42" 547cc engine mower that I'm seeing on their website I would get that one. Not but 20 more a month and a bigger engine. Other than that though it is basically the exact same mower.
@@hangdogdaddy38 yea they only have the one like yours with the 420cc motor and i have about a 1/2 acre yard you said yours does really good for your acre yard correct

@@thinredlinerails8240 Yes you could do that but I have the updated 439cc engine in mine, not the 420cc engine. Not much difference but every cc helps. But all in all if you don't have no more yard than that to mow it'll do an excellent job and you'll be pleased with it. I am with mine. Cheers.
Bought one, at Do it Best hardware. Runs nice and reminds me of lawn tractors 25 years ago before hydro drives that always stop working in time when you push the pedal for go. Go be gone. This has no pedal and like that metal hood and less plastic than Cub Cadet. I would like to add that MTD Deluxe sun shade if it fits this model, will have to ask customer service at MTD.
I live in Roanoke Rapids nc Schewels furniture has this brand really over charged me. Can anyone tell me the size of the bolt that connects the blade. Blades are in need of changing.
Are you having issues finding where to buy the spark plug or are you having issues locating where the spark plug is located on the mower?? If your having issues locating where it’s on the mower…open the hood and it is located in the front right side of the mower…if your having issues on where to buy the spark plug well you can find it at a location called Duffys…not sure if they have that business where your located at..also maybe auto-zone or O’Reillys…
You Cant. MTD Makes The Engine And Does Not Sell parts For it. The reason Is because They Don't Want Customers to Fix their own machines. They Just want Your Money.
I don't really remember Matthew. I think it was 1255.00 but then since I financed it interest ran the final price up some. But we paid it off in the 90 day time frame so it wasn't bad.
Maybe one of the switches. Check your seat switch. If it's not made it won't start. Also the clutch has a switch. If it isn't depressed it won't start. Good luck.
@@hangdogdaddy38 I switched my Powermore 439cc to a Briggs 17.5 500cc. I started having issues after trying to push heavy wet snow. I have no problems with the yard machine but like the Briggs better and the swap out easy.
Thanks again for the review; as you stated it is indeed difficult to find reviews on the Yard Machine brand models.

MTD website lists this as a riding lawn mower that can use the MTD 2 stage snow blower for small lawn tractors.

On my late 90s yard machine at least you have to push the clutch in a tiny bit while pushing on the shifter and it'll shift on the go.
