i remeber there were Dolls of Barbies little Sisters, which were androgenous aside from the Hair, i don´t know if they still make some of these but i think thes would fit as bases for short round cartoon child characters

Those are actually really common sewing scissors. I didn't knew this until I wanted to buy them (the same scissors from the show) and looked in Amazon and everywhere, just to find out that my mom and my grandma both already have it in their sewing kits 🤷🏻♀️

Over the garden wall was a truly amazing show. Even though it was a limited edition sersies with a few episodes it most certainly made my childhood and shaped my creativity into what it is today. a scaramouche doll would be so cute and fitting in your style!!!
I make doll eyes and I find doing small layers of resin then painting shadows and highlights on the different layers helps to show depth and detail.
What I do is paint the edges the darkest color of the iris, then paint a gradient to black in the center which will be the pupil. So if its a blue eye you will paint the edges of the eye dark blue then have that blend into black in the center. Then pour a thin layer of resin over that and paint a circle around the pupil with your base color (blue), blending it out with lines towards the darker color(dark blue). Next pour one more thin layer and put your highlights. You can place them wherever you want the highlights to be. You can add another layer and add shadows if you want. Then pour your layer with the surface tension that gives the eyeball shape. You can add as many thin layers as you can fit, that way you can build up alot of detail. I usually do like 5 layers.

I’ve watched the series some years ago when I was going to school and still learning English (I’m from Germany)
I watched it in English and It kinda reminded me of Gravity Falls back then. I really love OTGW. It is a fantastic show. I have to see it again actually… it’s now 3 or 4 years since I have seen it. I probably will understand more now
Oh my gosh, he's perfect 😭😭❤❤ I got an over the garden wall tattoo this past because of how much I love the show (it's an upside down teapot covered in simple flowers with 'ain't that just the way' above it). This Wirt is the best custom I've ever seen of OTGW ❤❤ He's absolutely darling
(Also, would nail polish work for the eyes??? That idea popped in my head and I wasn't sure. Also the suspender 'buckles' are the clasp things for bracelets I think! You use pliers to bend the striped part around yarn or something like that).
When I first saw the fail fix doll head I thought "dang Wirt's gonna have some ✨juicy✨ lips 👁️👄👁️" But in all seriousness, this doll turned out amazing! You are very talented!
