You're definitely onto something regarding each of them feeling the need for a purpose in life. We see this in Crowley's talk with Shax. For Crowley a relationship with Aziraphale is purpose enough; everyone else has rejected him. But Aziraphale has received a chance (he believes) to fulfill what he's been told is his purpose--reducing suffering in the world, while finally getting heaven's approval. Feeling needed/useful is a powerful persuader. He thought he'd found a way to have both his purpose and Crowley, but Crowley could not.
Ouch ouch dang it ouch. I just finished the second season and remembered I saved this fmv till later and now it's later and it surely didn't help with the season 2 ending pain but this is really really well done ♥♥😭😭 All the scenes and parallels and it's just so so good
La dépression est présente, on ne va pas se mentir. Comme d'habitude, que des bons choix de moments et de montage avec les paroles qui vont avec. On aime !
Oh, wow. Aziraphale is right on the edge. Poor Crowley. The look on his face when Azi says, "You are at liberty to go," and how gracefully he responded.
Thank you ❤️ yeah the scene with Crowley in the car was one the first scene I thought about when I listened to the lyric "but nothing more" while I was making the video 🥲🥲
Wow... This is absolutely beautiful... It's highly problematic to watch something that instills a hurt in you, but I am not stopping any time soon. They deserve better... 🥺
Thank you ❤️ I think this ending was inevitable for now, Aziraphale is still too much attached to Heaven (and still idealize it) he needs to see that he can't change Heaven (and that Crowley being a demon isn't a bad thing) I can't wait to see what they're planning to do in season 3!
@@solariene I completely agree. I’m certain Aziraphale will begin to piece together that his ideals may not align entirely with Heaven’s, this may be where his deviation to it begins… Bringing him to the arms of Crowley (after the broadway dance apology, of course) I believe it may be a long wait 💔 For now, the coffee theory & religious trauma theory are what I’m imagining may be at the heart of season 3
@@Gemma-Karma It's been shaken a little by the Ark thing and Job and well the crucifixion thing but he missed the whole Heaven actively trying to kill him with balefire thing. And why what happened to Gabriel happened. If I was a betting person I'd think that the Metatron is planning an usurpation.
Wow. This is brilliantly edited! ♥ The Lyrics and scenes... It's fine... I didn't need my heart anyways, let's stomp on it a little bit more. T.T *hitting the replay button*
With each video I watch, I'm more and more convinced that Crowley likes Aziraphale a lot more than the other way around. Every now and then Crowley throws himself into danger and sets his neck (holy ground, visiting heaven, etc.). But when you think about it, Aziraphale didn't do that even once. His concerns begin and end with words, no actions. For this reason, I hope that something unpleasant happens to Crowley in the next series so that Aziraphale has to actually physically intervene, even at the cost of his own damage.
I don't think it's fair to say Crowley likes Aziraphale more, I just think it's that Crowley has always been the braver of the two when it comes to emotion. Despite being scared himself, he's been able to show his love physically. However, Aziraphale has always been terrified of being cast out of heaven. Crowley has already fallen, he already knows that heaven isn't a good place to be, but Aziraphale is still quite blind to that (willfully, maybe). It was only after the not-pocalypse that he realised he and Crowley could truly be "on their own side" hence the "I don't want to go back to heaven" when talking to the Metatron in s2. Also there's the whole "but rescuing me makes him so happy" line Aziraphale says. But I agree that I'd like to see Aziraphale have to physically intervene to get Crowley out of danger in s3.
@@smashingblouse3803 The difference between them is that Crowley has nothing to lose, and Aziraphale does (so he thinks). Crowley, having been cast out of heaven, abandoned by God, and hated by Hell, while also hating his "assignments" on earth, has nothing else good in his life besides Aziraphale. Aziraphale has just been given the approval and kindness he has so desperately wanted from heaven for the millennia of his existence PLUS a chance to alleviate suffering of angels and humans. It's a heady mixture, and having his lifelong needs/dreams fulfilled (as he thinks) he's not yet ready to throw it all away for one person, even the one he loves best.
@letolethe3344 Exactly! I feel like Aziraphale is very much in a "why can't I have both?" headspace in that scene. It all happened so quickly I don't think he was able to take it all in. But I guess we'll find out more in s3.
Your song choice and the order of the scenes is a work of art made for savoring over and over.
Thank you! 🥺
@@solarieneYes, I watch/listen to this on a loop. Thank you so much!

Merci !! ❤️
