Now, let me tell you that Kashmir has not been occupied for the first time. .
During 1320 AD, it was occupied by a Mangol dacoit named Dulcha, who oppressed the masses for about six months and no authority could defeat or drive him away.
After sometime the valley was again occupied by an outsider, this time it was a Buddhist from ladakh named. Rinchen. After some years, valley was again occupied by an outsider named Shahmir who was a Muslim from Swat valley, oppression of Kashmiries saw it's peak during the rule of Skander shah who was a descendant of Shahmir. .
Kashmir was occupied and oppressed by moughals, pathans and Sikhs. Dogras purchased whole of the valley alongwith the population for rs. Seventy-five lakhs and after ruling over it for more than hundred years and treating it as a purchased property. got it merged with indian union.
So, history of Kashmir is full of instances of foreign occupation and oppression. Instead of giving examples of Hitler and Changez kahn ,the comedian should know and quote examples. from his own history.
