@InspektoraDeFrutas This was a year ago, I don't remember. But there are videos about it. IIRC, the pilot feathered the props and didn't notice until the plane was already in a full stall.
So by the time the video started, they were already dead, just hadn't noticed yet.
Can't blame the camera guy. Would have been traumatic to witness quite honestly.

Well It's a real incident of yeti airline clash of Nepal in pokhara City just prior to 3-5 minutes of landing.
To everyone showing hate for camera man you should not do like that..he was just filming Unknown of the incident became nervous and did his hand down..if he had the aim to shoot the whole incident he would have been filmed the incident..but It was just a random video with plane crash coincidence ! 🙂

There is actually a Facebook livestream taken by one of the passengers. Heart-wrenching stuff. He’s filming out the window and you just see the plane get closer and closer to the ground, skip forward a few seconds and everything’s on fire. The screams of the passengers just slowly die out.
Luckily their horror lasted only seconds. Sad either way but knowing it was quick gives some solice.

The plane was circling to land and was performing accelerated stall but it looks like the angle was too steep around 70 degrees and it was too close to the ground.
This is more like vmc role.
Flaps were not set to 30. Cargo may have also moved rearwards

Many people die because of small mistake of first officer in plane there are 2 pilots one is captain and other is first officer what happened was pilot told to first officer to flap 30 dregree she said check but she didn't flap but she off the engines 😮💨because of that small mistakes so many people die 😢

That looked like the pilot deliberately flipped it
All because the pilot in command pulled the control that feathered the props (basically reducing thrust to zero) instead of the control to lower the flaps (right next to the prop control)

Everyone is claiming that the left engine failed.
What I see is a poor landing maneuver that resulted in an unrecoverable stall caused most likely by failure to keep an EYE on the freaking airspeed.
There was no deliberate manoeuvre. Pilot didn't set flaps to 30 hence stall and roll
blancolirio did a full explanation of the preliminary report which includes CVR and FDR data if you're interested. Basically the pilot monitoring mistakenly feathered the engines instead of extending flaps which led them to have no thrust and the speed became too low, leading to a stall. Uncontrollable turning to the left. The turn is too steep causing the load factor to get higher rendering the stall speed higher. It's stalled. And It's too close to the ground for the recovery. RIP

The plane crash that killed 72 people in Nepal on Jan. 15, 2023, has been attributed to pilot error following the release of a preliminary investigative report.
Earlier this week, the Nepalese Aircraft Accident Investigation Commission released its preliminary report on the Yeti Airlines flight that crashed into a river gorge in Pokhara. The plane was carrying 72 passengers in total, including the crew, all of whom perished.
The report indicates that on descent one of the pilots selected the wrong lever, feathering the propellors instead of lowering the flaps.
Two captains were operating the plane. One of the captains was in the process of obtaining aerodrome familiarization for operating into Pokhara and the other captain was the instructor pilot. The captain being familiarized, who was occupying the left hand seat, was the Pilot Flying (PF) and the instructor on the right was the Pilot Monitoring (PM).

I find the video unsettling. How could the camera person have been so calm as a plane was about to crash? And then "creatively and sensitively" pan down to flower pots whilst still recording the sound. Something doesn't sit right.

I never can understand why almost all videos of accidents like these have the camera person pan down to the ground. It happens almost every time. It's almost like its some long running joke and I don't get why. If you were trying to avoid the incident, you would run or do something, not calmly pan down and miss the most important moment. Also most people who do this don't seem to think about how helpful this would be to people at places like the NTSB to help solve the incident in a quick manner and save people from future repeated mistakes.
People that do this should be banned from social media.

Sebenar nya cameramen nya tidak fokus ke pesawat, krna sbenar dia mau bikin konten vlog tentang tanaman bunga2 yg ada di pot,dan kabar yg paling mengejutkan lagi ternyata dia baru mengetahui ada pesawat jatuh di sebelah rumah dan menghantam dinding rumah nya setelah 1 tahun kmudian baru dia mengetahui ada pesawat jatuh di samping rumah dan itu pun dia tau karna ada tukang rumah yg mau memperbaiki dinding rumah nya.
