I'm a Nigerian and a huge fan of South African gospel, Hle Ntombela, Putuma Tiso, Hle Mlambla, Xolly Mcwango, Mmatema, Ayanda, Colleen etc.
And these women deliver spirit filled worship every time WITH THEIR BODY FULLY COVERED. No breasts threatening to fall out of their dresses or worse. Although sometimes they appear in such.
Positioning as an instrument that God sends songs of deliverance and healing through goes beyond a great voice. We must couple purity and right living with this calling as well.
None of us are saints and we all fight to be free from demonic strongholds that determine to keep us locked in unholy conduct. But as we grow in Christ, which we must find ourselves deliberately doing, we have to be intentional about how we position ourselves in the public eye.
Not coming from a place of hate but deep appreciation for the huge blessing South Africa gospel has been to my life and a wish for these beautiful worshipping souls to also not sing about Jesus but become as Him.
