So many of these arcade games/titles I'd never heard of but are interesting to watch you play through. Given the theme and name despite spelling having an "i" as opposed to a "y", any chance this is inspired by Jacque Cousteau's research vessel "Calypso"? Which immediately makes me think of the John Denver song of same name that I've always liked.

I'll bet this name *is* inspired by Cousteau's ship - I wonder if the spelling "Calipso" was to help avoid a lawsuit, or just bad spelling?
@@dumplechan That was my thought too as not to infringe on the estate or whatnot. The likelihood is fairly high we're in the ballpark as to reasoning.
