Rongo (also referred to as Rango Forest) is a village in the Gorubathan CD block in the Kalimpong Sadar subdivision of the Kalimpong district in the state of West Bengal, India.
"Rongo" used to be an important place for growing medicinal plants. It offers beautiful views of the surrounding hills, forests and the valley of the Jaldhaka River. Most of the people are Buddhists and speak Nepali. "Nakshal khola" is a hidden place near "Rongo".

To the people who wants to go there now this place is not like this anymore due to a huge landslide. We have been there last week ...... the entire path is now just filled with boulders and rocks due to the landslide... sadly this beautiful greenery is gone now. The khola itself is now almost jammed with rocks. The road beyond the bridge is worse in condition
