Can you do this on just white acrylic do you need gelpolish on top?

You can do it on top of white acrylic but I think the effect would be better if you did it over the top coat as it spreads easier

Yes honey and I’m pretty sure you can use any brand of permanent marker as well

No it can't b any brand...it only works with alcohol based markers.
