To make it clear “The Big Lebowski” is from 1998 and not 1988 as the video indicates. My apologies everyone! And big thank you to those you brought that to my attention ✌🏻
    Also regarding the “double exposures”:
“Mr. Bridges revels in using the Widelux’s long exposure time to take in-camera photos of his acting friends (Slide 12 and above) making comedic and tragic faces. During a single exposure, they run from one end of the frame to the other and pose goofily for the camera.”

From watching this video and other interviews and things of Jeff Bridges, he seems like a guy that is really in touch with his inner self and that comes through in his work. FYI, The Widelux is 140 degrees, as my Russian Horizant from 1967 is 120 degrees, and it is the same format as the Fuji TX1, and TX2 aka Hasselblad X-Pan but the Fuji/Hasselblad does not bend in the middle like my Horizant does, but I love it, and the lens is also a Pan Focus 28mm 2.8 in which the Widelux has 3 shutters, in which the Horizant has 4 shutters in which later in the years the Horizant later became the models from Lomography Panoramic cameras with a film advance lever, and rewind crank.

Jeff Bridges! Yeah concidering that Jeff Bridges; and his entire family grew up around photography, and film! Plus I really like him alot. And his brother Boe. I read a book by Jeff, that's he co-wrote; with a friend of his. That book is always handy; in my book collection. His father was every kids hero. He had a TV Show called "Sea Hunt". I had a water mask, snorkel, and Finn's back then. I learned to scuba dive when I was 12. Loyd Bridges had a really great scene; in the movie called; Joe And The Volcanoe. I want to be like that guy. " Got any whiskey?". Both Jeff Bridges, and Boe Bridges; are among my most favorite actors. They are fine human beings also; I'm sure. So enough! Now I'll watch the video. There I go again; rambling.

I want to try some toy film cameras too. I did want to get a hassleblad x- pan, or some kind of 612; or 617 camera. Just can't afford one. It's down the list. I made a pano in digital of the huge meteor crater ; that's in Arizona. I made that picture with a Sony A72, and a 55mm lens. I took 16 exposures, then merged them in Photoshop. I made a print that's 11 inches by 46 inches. It has alot of detail. I took it in the early morning. This same woman; is seen in it; standing in 2 different places. I still want to do some panoramic film photography. It's something a digital camera can't do. Thats interesting; what Jeff Bridges has to say about pano's; and him using them for long exposures. Getting the same subject; posing in different locations; in the same exposure. I will check out more of his photography. for sure! I never thought about doing that B4. It's fun to access so much photographers; photos, and art; anytime I get an idea to. So; alot of thanks again! :)

@@TatianaHopper I don't want to sound like a smart ass but I doubt that the interviewer understood the technique right. As we can see in the nice example pictures (min 5:06) the background stays the same in every double portrait.
I've used the widelux for quite some time and can assure you that it would be impossible to run from one point to another without creating nothing more than some motion blur. Even at the slowest shutter speed it only takes 2 or 3 seconds for the lens to move the whole awesomely wide 140 (!) degrees. Nevertheless cool video - thanks for trying to actually say something about photography instead of showing gear and stupid car-pictures over and over again like these other dudes.

I like what you are doing but can you stop that red line flashing on the right side of the frame? I find really distracting when focusing on the images you are showing me.

Hey thank you for watching. If what you mean is a red / green light on the right edge of the frame it’s not from the video it might be a playback issue with your browser or device or even a need for update.

Iconic? He’s a great actor, and a cool guy, but an icon of photography? Common.
