She pulls no punches. Great coach who plays no favorites. She retired Alex Morgan and no other coach would have done that. She's all about getting better and winning. We are very fortunate to have Emma as our National Women's Coach.
There was a big need to get the cancers out of the program. I wouldn’t put Alex Morgan into that group but I would Rapinoe who was destroying the team with her crazy thinking off the pitch and her bullying way inside the lockerroom.
@@LJfootball14watch every single interview that exists of players talking about what it’s like to have Rapinoe as a teammate and not only do they not say anything bad about her, but they express nothing but admiration and awe of the weight she carried and the things she fought for to make it better for future generations. But sure, keep pushing this narrative that is based in delusion

0:44 "they were first to everything". I'm glad Emma said that because I was yelling the same at my TV "why are they beating you to every ball?! These are 50/50 balls but they seem to be 100% for the Netherlands!" I can only imagine how furious Emma was!
"By not being our best but finding a way to win is a sign of a great team." Well said, Emma. This was by far the Dutch's better game and still had 70 minutes to score more, but couldn't. Congratulations, US Women's Soccer Team!
Well, Alyssa Naeher might have had something to do with that. She had a great last game at international level. If not for her, the Netherlands would have got at least another 3 or 4 goals past the US. Meanwhile, POTM should have perhaps gone to the Dutch player who scored for both teams. 😂
Yes, Alyssa Naeher is awesome and will be missed. The position is not easy - throwing your body on the line every game. She's an understated super star ⭐ Another underrated player is definitely Lynn Williams. Absolutely adore her tenacious play, energy and leadership on the field. She doesn't get ENOUGH credit for her play. Another, leader and super star 🌟
It's gratifying to see Emma building this team the right way. It might be odd to think of "building" as applied to a long-time successful US team, but the 2023 world cup is the best argument for doing exactly what she's doing now. We had a couple of key injuries - Macario and Mal being the biggest - that just threw Vlatko for a loop and basically changed the whole direction of the team because there was no one who could step into those empty boots. Looking forward to She Believes 2025 and beyond.
I hear her but coming into this match it was not a secret about the style of play the Dutch would bring to the table, the Olympic final match should have been a better guide going into this match, I thought. I wouldn’t say they were prepared for the Dutch. it took the first half to realise that, take accountability for that at least. the Dutch dominated every part of that game, even the second half. Nonetheless great test. It’s every team’s dream to beat the USWNT.
First 60 minutes for US were unwatchable. Quite a few of our starting midfield are made of weak sauce. Midfield was giving away possessions. Way too much being asked of defense and forwards by coach to make up for weak midfield. 20 to 5 on shots could be how mediocre tactics, but great players win.
Horgan is too slow and slows the play down. Rose is not tough enough to play the physical role she was required to play. I still don’t know the extent of Corbin’s ability offensively. I feel like she is being cautious. Emma has some hard conversations ahead of her.
Shaw was extremely disappointing for me. Seemed lazy and just wouldn’t work hard. Very bad performance. I think Ryan again showed she can find a place on this roster coming off the bench.
She needs more development and it is the end of the season. Lots of runs in those legs not to mention coming back from injury. I think she'll be back strong.
I think the USWNT should never play a team outside of the top except for just a few Concacaf teams like Mexico and maybe Costa Rica and CONMEBOL, but even then never outside of the top 30. I would be fine with 1/3 of our games being against Europe.

Man, I like her! Tells it like it is. We were lucky she wanted this job so much.
She could coach any team in the world men or women and be successful. I welcome arguments on that point.
Hello....I have loved this game forever....you are amazing Ms. Emma Hayes...you are courageous😮

Emma is a phenomenal coach.
In Emma we trust 🫡🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
I'm glad she sees what the fans are seeing the first half was a mess and we were literally getting bullied
I agree. Fairly new team, so in time i think they can get their act together.
I want LILLY on the pitch. You can feel her excellence oozing -- so happy she decided to join the US team ✴ Super Star in the making

Number 5 World Cup is coming for us LFG emma Hayes
Talk about the right person for the job.
Absolutely love and appreciate Emma is our coach ❤🇺🇸❤️🇺🇸🫤

Emma needs a big raise soon!
@@l.baileyjean3719 I'm pretty sure it's still not as much as some male coaches get though,, eh. 🤔

Completely agree Horan needs a rest - she's been terrible all season. Albert is sub-par not sure why she's starting. Too much pressure on the defense.
Shaw was extremely disappointing for me. Seemed lazy and just wouldn’t work hard. Very bad performance.

shaw is slow
I agree with your comments. Shaw is playing her way off the team. Ryan will be good competition for Rodman. It will be fun to see how it plays out.

Wish she would coach our men. No offense to Poch
