We have 4 hosims. A couple of them got smashed up in the hurricane here in tennessee. Hes been trying to get some up and running before its to cold. He has been wanting a bigger one. I was gonna try and get 1/8 scale for him when we get done with the clean up and our place is fixxed. Love the video ty😊
Getting into the center diff is a pain in the ass but once you do it helps dramatically to thicken the oil up there's not really any in there but I'll also say this their customer service is fantastic I had some troubles with it and strip some screws and customer service is sending me everything I need new and actually was willing to send me more than what I asked for but I'm not greedy so I told him just to send me a single differential and a couple of the lower front support arms swing arms whatever they're called anyway great truck though fun to start with now I'm working on my red cat 6s and getting it all dialed in
Dang that front bumper has some nasty overhang. I'd call it the "lawn dart edition". I'd think it would require perfect landings to carry on any flow in a track or jumping scenario. In this day and age is there really any justified reason for that much bump steer . Is it $99.;what's the appeal versus readily available hobby grade trucks that are sold locally and have nice availability. Would a Smaller grom be a better choice? That combo esc looks scary...lol
Yikes! I bought a new, tamiya rc kit. Phillips head hardware 🤯! (That's what burns MY 🫏! HH's $400+ planes still use PHH) Nothing screams cheap like Phillips heads!
It's sad when manufacturers let themselves down. This could have been a really good truck. Falsely claiming 1:8 scale is a big no no. The diffs and shocks seem to be basically empty. A new person getting this truck would be lost. They would have to figure out how to service the diffs and fill the shocks before they could really enjoy the truck. The battery tray looks undersized as well so you may not be able to the very common 3S hard case batteries. All phillips hardware as well. For what the truck costs I feel like it's a no go when you compare it to other 1:10 main line trucks.
It's definitely hobby grade. Just not a good grade. I'd take it over a toy RC, but that's not saying much. Someone could actually try using the parts it's made from on something else. But ............. I wouldn't have one to start. Even at free id probably give it to some underprivileged kid. Ha. Definitely not good. @@johninNJ

Victory winner 😂 these Chinese companies kill me with the decals
I had one that had " Ready to Ron" on the box. Not sure who Ron is but its ready for him.😂
Thanks for the video! Would have been nice to see how it ran with oil in the shocks and diffs as a starting point for people who bought this car
Exocaged: "This is a tough truck!"
Kevin Talbot: "Wait." 🤣

If nothing else, you can't deny that the truck is durable.
👍👍😃
Sl😜wpoke!
✌️✌️🤣@@old-rcplane-phart
👍😁😎✌️
Proof is in the pounding it takes 🤣
Saw one of those at Walmart yesterday
MILDLER 😂🎉👍👍😎 Well done for keeping it in 💯👌
I thot bump steer was as ancient (& a thing of the past🤷♂️) as a tamiya frog & kyosho optima😜!
How is everyone going
Another mundane mundai 😂
Mindless Monday 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Would be awesome to see you put some thicker weight oil in diffs and fix shocks and possibly put a good 3 or 4s system in it.
Can we see what its like with thicker fluid in the diffs and suspension? maybe a gear up!
If I get some free time
Those diffs be dry af!
When Kevin Talbot reviews and gives hell, I will know if it is thought or not
😜😁
8 seconds 😴😴😴
Some oil in the differentials or at least the center differential and a bigger opinion you probably wouldn't be a bad car for bashing

It Darts the Lawn well!
Quick question.
Is it tough?
lol
Thanks.
Cmon joe show me more of that new grom! Show me some tire options!!
Doesn’t it have a Phillips head screws?
Yikes!

Are you going to R.T.O November 1~3
1/8 scale ??🤔
1/8 1/2😂
Nope, the same size as my Valkerie
Looks so small maybe tamiya scale 1:10 😂

It's definitely a no. It's nearly a Arrma Granite price tag for what seems to be toy grade.
The granite is pretty hardy imo. Mine keeps going and going

50 mph? GOOD LUCK Not with those diffs
No thanks 😂😂😂
Hey brother! From my experience with cheaper trucks it’s likely the diffs are bone dry. Not good. The build quality of these brands keeps me away.
that body looks way to long for its wheelbase and width, really looks like a toy
Idk about these Chinese knock off rigs….seems like parts will be a long wait
Parts....? Don't u just replace the whole truck? Lol
rubbish
