Part 1 of our durability exploration show the lengths we go to to ensure we are working on a remarkable tape measure and the lengths we go to in order to validate each function and component of the tape measure assembly. We have countless custom fixtures, jigs, and calibration machines (some of which are a trade secret) that put our tape measures through the full process of testing.

I work in construction, so I would like to see how the tape stands up to different types of dust, debris and liquids. I didn't see any of that type of testing in this video.
the retraction jog is usually where we do this and sprinkle dust and other debris through the retraction process. The T1 has wipers in the front to try and prevent as much of this as possible from entering the reel assembly

Does it retract itself, or does it need a bit of help? Mine, I have to kind of push it ..
Hey James, the retraction force is lower so it cant slam in to damage components as well as prevent debris from entering the tape measure (with the wipers)
What is the waterproof es of this tape measure?

I am very excited about getting this tool, but I do not really care about these kind of promotional videos, those say, that if you are a professional, than our product is indispensable for you to become the Best of the bests, because our product is also the Best of the bests. The Time will decide if it is an expensive toy or a real product , that helps us all years long in the jobsites and in the workshop, too. Let us talking about this product after 2-3 years of using it. I hope, that all of us will be totally satisfied. I hope so! Best regards to everyone from Hungary!

Where’s the drop test? Tape measures get dropped. I’m not talking dropping it off a building but it should survive a 3-4 ft drop at least.

After more than a year you still can't mass produce this product? Have you been using PPT products to deceive consumers?
