How do you guys feel about Inferno Salamander, both in this meta and future PvP where more spells (like shads) will be unenchantable? Personally, I think the base version is in a good spot right now but it might need to be adjusted when 5th age comes out. Let me know what you guys think!
It feels a bit too good tbh, I don't know what the new pvp update brings to the table but as it stands, 6 pip means full solar dmg, and it is ot, I think it definetely needs a bit of nerf.

we don't know for sure yet but most likely test realm will be sometime between the 8th and 17th (most likely 10th, or 17th) it should drop to the live game 2-3 weeks after that
I think with every class carying a dot roshambo salamander is super fine. Fire gambits are in a BRUTALLY BAD spot as they cant mander and scion ever. Since they need 2 dots and sally + elf is 8 pips not to mention fire dots going away on a known timer means that carrying fire sheilds is super super easy to counter any fire gambit player since you can time it pretty consistently
in all honesty what fire needs is a stat nerf ever since motor robe became a thing fire has been crazy I don't understand why fire is able to have 9.5k hp while maintaining good stats
i do miss old school pvp, the intensity and surprise of always guessing what your opponent was doing was a thrill but it was undoubtedly more unbalanced
idk about that, if you look at just the dpp for the base version it makes perfect sense for a fire DOT (keep in mind flast resist also kicks in 4 times and that you could triage the damage off for counterplay) - the issue is more fire's stats, other hits becoming non-enchantable, and the spellement upgrades imo
I trained -80 fire shield just to get the extra 10% from the -70 shields when I'm setting against a fire cuz of how strong fire is hitting through shields lol. It has a -90 weakness too so setting for fire with -80's plus fire warding is the least you can do. It's damage is going to get nerfed. Only a matter of time now.
