What a lovely text! I'm thinking a lot about children this week as my daughter and her school bestie went to church camp this week at our parish. It is the best camp, and the girls are having a blast, and learning more about their faith and Jesus' love for them. So when I came across this hymn title, I thought it was perfect! And when they call children the "dear lambs", it just melts my heart. Thank you Lord for the sweet goodness of children.

Dear Kathryn. That is such a lovely hymn. Thankyou for singing it. When I go to 09.30 Mass I see all the little children going to Sunday school. I always pray that will draw closer to Jesus and stay with him all their lives, like little lambs in Jesu hands. That is such a lovely picture. I know German hymns with this theme and I love them.
