@@galharen Oh for sure, especially depending on if you wanted to go the 30k colours of dark grays/blues or the 40k more lighter sky blue with a grayish feel. From the effect and work you put into the Dark Angel, Im sure you could get a really good balance between the two that id love to see.
My Dark Angels green armour is painted in the rather common still of Slap Chop, Zenithal layers, with airbrushed contrast paints, then successive dry-brushes and more airbrushed contrast paints.
It's easy to see you are a very good painter from how that armor turned out. That character would already looks great and I'm sure it would look even better once finished. I checked out your channel page and some of the work you have in the thumbnails is stunning. However I would suggest a few changes to make the quality of the video itself better. Or at least some food for thought. First of all I would cut the music when you're trying to explain the steps you're doing as it really is distracting from what you're saying. If you have a section that is just you painting it's fine to put the music in during that point. Keep in mind the sound levels though as the music should never go louder than your speaking volume in the video(imo at least). Also as far as model selection goes I think the character model was a poor choice for this particular video because you're trying to demonstrate a technique for just the armor while this model has a lot of spots that are not just armor. I would have either made this an entire tutorial about painting a character model or instead choose a more marine model that is mostly armor instead. Tactical marines are kind of overplayed so maybe an assault marine or devastator since it is a dark angel? Your narration is ok but the script itself could use work. The steps and paints you use here are very specific and not everyone has access to an airbrush or that specific line of paints. So you could mention what other options people could use instead for those steps. I would also clearly include your reasoning for choosing the ones you did go with. So a line may sound something like this, "Now that we already have the base coat applied we need to choose highlight colors. For the effect I want to achieve I'm going to use two different brighter shades of green as well as a yellow for the final bright highlight. The reason I chose yellow as the final highlight is because of xyz. In this case I'll be using x y and z paints from the greenstuff paint range." You can take this further by saying you could use fewer highlight colors if you need to get the models painted more quickly for the table top and then come back later to do more highlights, etc. It depends on how detailed you want to be with your explanations and how you edit to see if it will feel right. The thumbnail is ok but it's kind of hard to see the model and it doesn't really pop. The ravenwing, orc skin, and force weapon thumbnails are probably some of your best. If you want to grow your channel thumbnails are absolutely key. The reason I like those thumbnails a lot is because the text is bold and clear and they really show off the high quality painting which attracts the eye and makes me more interested in checking the video out. Your intro needs work as well. 13 seconds to get into the video is way too long. I know you want to show off the channel and who you are but there are better ways of doing it. I was immediately clicking past it and I'm sure I'm not the only one. Check out the big youtube channels to see how they do their intros. Not just the big mini painting channels I mean in general on youtube. Anyone with 10mil plus subscribers. Hook the audience right away and do your best not to let their attention go. A 13 second intro that doesn't have to do with content is more than enough time for a viewer to decide to click on one of the other videos on the right. I hope you'll take what I've said as constructive criticism rather than as an attack. You're a very talented miniature painter and it's obvious you've spent a lot of time to get to that level. Making videos is just another form of art to practice and improve on. Good luck with your channel.
@@galharen As a "Good Morning" I can say, that I've seen also this part "how to paint power sword" and can agree that fully painted he looks more dark than salamy; but for me it's still somewhat too salamy;p! The whole piece is an artwork man, obviously. This comic style lines of this salamy shines on armor are mmm to watch! Have a nice day.
Awesome video and paint job, Mateusz! Thanks for putting this together. Love that color progression 🤙
Thank you very much❤️🔥❤️🔥💪
Phenomenal result, very inspiring! Thanks a lot for sharing!
Id love to see how you do Space wolves
Honestly, I have never painted the space wolf before, could be a challenge for sure!

Always a fine line between salamanders with these highlights
Stunning piece of art. I am pretty happy with my painting standard but sometimes I feel like I could show some more effort. xD
I´ve searched a long time for a real nice Dark Angels Look! And I Thing I found it! Amazing Work!
Thank you so much!
Great step by step!
Thanks 👍
Thank you, I really appreciate that:)
Looks incredible dude!
Thanks bro!:)

@@shotou please share the effects;)
Not sure how, a drop box link to a photo maybe?
If it’s too light, just throw a dark green wash like p3 or even nuln over this & it’s perfect.
Love the painting. What would be the citadel paint equivalents to what you used?
awesome. can u do an imperial fist.
Super 💪
Do you have a video on painting red armor like this? I love the dark shadows and vibrant color!
Hey, not yet, but I'm putting it on my "to-do" list, thanks for inspiration:)

Wow, a lot of important points! Be sure I will take all of them into consideration, thank you very much!:)
Christ 🤣
😊
I agree the music is out of place here. I had to stop watching!
:))
From which mini did you take the body for this one?
It is a space marines captain from the Indomitus box with Puppets War helmet and shoulder pads.
Where did you get the head from?
It comes from Puppets War:)
Great video! Can you do same kind just for Space Wolves please :)
Wow nice Salamanders
🤣😅
really
That power sword, is that from Deathwing Command box?
yes:)
Hey i dont have air brush but can y make the effect ?
Sure, airbrush is not a magic trick, this is just another tool. You can achieve such effects with brush aswell.
I know it's dark Angel but the finest green looks more salamander
Feel the same, it's because he used too much satured yellow and not enough white for high light.
how did you make it look so easy? XD
this was so amazing i had to sub to the patreon I'm new to painting mini and 40k would I need an air brush for the highlight near the start?
I would totally recommend you getting an airbrush, it is simply a game changer:)
ahem... nice salamanders bro
It's beautiful 🥲
thank you!:)
The fallen exist 40k
Beautiful, but you made him more Salamander than Dark Angel.
I say it is Dark Angel:)

@@galharen naw bro, they are salamanders
Amazing work dude, but yeh, maybe a bit too bright for Dark Angel for my taste.
Now weather it down
