Hi, Sabine. ❤ Well said. Whether or not someone claims to be a teacher or claims not to be, those who describe "reality" to you do not know reality. They know their own points of view. Some points of view are more worth hearing about than others, but none should be adopted as if it were "Truth." One can learn many things from others by listening, reading, or simply by observing, but not "Truth.' If you adopt someone else's point of view, you will be at best an imitator. Listen, read, and observe as much as you like, but then get past Tony Parsons, Nisargadatta (or whoever it is you want to copy) and find your own mind.
I am always surprised how compassionate and knowing normal/everday people are. I dont go to any kind of spiritual meetings anymore because I don´t why. It´s interesting to be alive and I am not afraid to die.
You know when you have heard enough to know to let go of all concepts. Even Ramana Maharshi said to use the thorn to remove the thorn and then discards that one. Hear the message and discard all concepts, let life be the medicine.
Follow your own Heart..Yes! ..in a nutshell. ❤ The severe dysfunction we see is simply because we stopped 'doing 'this. The non dual teaching of net neti is only part of the story. After realizing what were NOT..we 'go back' and live as the Love we Are..( not that we ever weren't 'That' )....❤ ...🙏 Thank you dear Sabine..🌹😘
Yes, Yes, and again Yes... This aspect of N.D. your pointing out is as far as my experience is concerne, a phase in the process.... with a strong fixation 💙Nice to see you
I've made a great mistake of confusing the Buddhist idea of detachment and apathy. I thought it I was able to detach from my mind and everything that arises in it I would be able to still my ADHD mind and the troubles of rejection sensitivity dysphoria, but I think I just made deep freeze of my emotions so even now while I act as if I'm enjoying myself I don't fully feel the emotions I should be feeling. How do I detach from the chaos of my mind while still being attached to love and all the positivity that comes with it?
Compassion has nothing to do with duality. Compassion is an emotion. Compassion is not related to what is "good" and "bad" and what is "right" and "wrong". Logically, you can think someone deserves death penalty, but emotionally you can still feel compassion towards them, even if you logically think that's the right thing. Those two things are not contradictory. If you lack compassion that doesn't make you nondualistic, it simply means you are a psychopath, or have some other mental disorder.
