You actually could have tightened down on the LF slack adjuster to lock that wheel up and it’d force the other side to turn, the open diff gonna always send the power to the path/wheel of least resistance. That is why trucks with abs always make a tst-tst-tst while in a wheel spin it’s manipulating stabilitrac. Rule of thumb stop the wheel that’s spinning and the wheel with traction will grab harder by tightening down on slack adjuster and don’t forget to re-adjust once unstuck out the mud
Since the power divider/diff lock doesn't work maybe use a short piece of 2x4 or 4x4 under the 1st drive tires the long way, not like chalking the tires. Should grab...

Hey Andrew this is Old. School NJ Rock the Truck until u line with the rocking, don’t Gas just rock. Pop Clutch very little throttle , not release pop, like u start a Manual car in Gear, otherwise u digging in pull it out rope chain its gravel it will never drive out.
When u pull forward, engage the brakes, get out reposition the black stick up under the tire. Let it roll back onto it. U should be able to get better traction then
So disappointed with CAJ and these comments. His differential lock is in but it only really lock one side . If you're truck doesn't have full differential lock all wheels won't lock only one side per axle
All you needed was to go get the flat top and let somebody pull you out why you had it in reverse come on og tight pocket! I think you already knew that
Looks like you might be missing two axles one on each side they probably seen you just sitting there in the scooped out it don't take long to take an axle cuz only one side spending at a time it doesn't make sense not unless the brakes are locked up
@@ChasingAndrewJacksonYou don't have to take the tire off to pull the axle, you take off that little black cap with 8 bolts in the middle of the wheel and it slides out. It looks like your wheels are locked which probably means you have bad slack adjusters. I had this problem and I thought the shoes were rusted to the drum, you can hear when you hit with the hammer it should sound like a bell not like it does. Sounds like the brakes are locked. You can back off your slack adjusters with a small socket, it's stupid easy.

Also the slack adjuster screw release the shoes from the drums if locked up. Don't adjust the steer screw.

To much mud you neeed some rocks under the tires and you have to pull foward hold the brakes and reverse the truck
Put 2 by 4 in between the pulling tire
Put some lumber down and try to rock yourself back using momentum.

Doesn't even make sense. Might as well take the tires too if you're gonna take them off to get the axle. It's a private lot though.
