Unfortunately, because of the licenses they were able to acquire, DbD stayed the dominant asymm and through its monopoly on the genre has kept other asymms down
I mean yes it’s a “good” game but be honest… would you still use this game as a standard if you had lost? I mean at face-value you’re saying a 4k at 1 gen is what should happen in high level matches which seems biased towards killer
I think he's saying more relative to skill. The idea is that the goal should be a killer player equally as good as the 4 survivors should result in a 2k. There are plenty of instances where really good killer players play bad killers and end up with a 1 or 0k against survivors they're clearly better than. Having to work far harder for less results is never a good feeling. Tru3 was clearly better than the survivors here. They weren't very coordinated but they had decent knowledge of the Unknown's mechanics and were able to put a Up a decent bout, but they definitely weren't good enough to win against a player like Tru3. The Ada constantly going for flashlight saves when there weren't many good opportunities for one and the Bill doing a gen right in front of Tru3 resulting in a down instead of leading him away from it so one of the other survivors could pop it was also pretty mindless.
Always frustrating to hear how the game can be “improved” from a comp killer main mindset when the majority of the matches are non comp and usually soloq , casual players
@@josetomascamposrobledano4618 I have 900 hours on PS5 and 1700 on steam and I’d say roughly 1000 hours I was soloq, even with my hours I am a casual player, not expert at looping I merely play for “fun” and yet every killer goes in for the comp mindset, tunnelling at 5 gens, slugging entire team, I fail to see how that is fun at all even for killers while they have 4 gen regression perks in about 90% of matches. The game is not friendly towards new players, the matchmaking is awful. Imo ranked matches should be a separate thing for comp players to run wild in if they wish
Seriously. This game isn’t suppose to be balanced. It was never designed to be a competitive game. Just a fun one. And those survivors were just trying to have fun with deception, and power struggle

These Survivors weren't that great. They were VERY slow on gens, considering how little you used your perks, and they made a lot of obvious mistakes. It only felt difficult due to the clunkiness of Unknown.
See I don’t agree at all… you cant balance a game around the top 1% or you’ll alienate the other 99% & the game will end up dying. You always seem to complain & yet you win the game…. And even if you draw the vast majority-that means that the game is indeed balanced.

If he plays survivors who are better skilled at survivor than he is at killer then it's "unbalanced" and "survivor-sided" because his ego doesn't understand how he lost and doesn't think there is any room for improvement in his gameplay.
