I was doing some raggedy Anne & Andy faces for a friend. While doing the black eye, suddenly I started getting the white bobbin thread on top. The effect was actually quite amazing! It had a slightly oval black in the middle, with all white on both outer sides. I wish I could’ve done that on all of them. The effect was a really cool!
The problem was a result of the bobbin thread jumping out of the tension. It’s the only time I had a mistake that I wish I could duplicate!
Since I just upgraded to a newer embroidery machine, I decided I was going to get a thread stand for it. I’m so happy I did! Now I don’t have a bunch of thread scattered behind my machine. Everything is neat and tidy. Unlike the rest of my sewing room. 😂
