Javed Ahmed Ghamidi is a Pakistani Muslim theologian, a Quran scholar, and an educationist. Mr. Ghamidi is a student of Maulana Amin Ahsan Islahi and Maulana Abul A’la Maududi. Mr. Ghamidi has authored several books, including ‘Meezan’, in which he presents a comprehensive treatise on the entire content of Islam. Mr. Ghamidi is a researcher and a critical thinker who has challenged many aspects of the traditional Muslim schools of thought on the basis of evidence from Quran and sunnah.

دونوں حضرات علمی معلوم ہوتے ہیں ایک انتہائی پر مغز اور علمی مباحثہ رہا پروفیسر ابرار صاحب کا مؤقف شاندار رہا
اللہ نے دین کے غلبے کا وعدہ کیا جو حضور ﷺ کے دور میں پورا ہوگیا ۔
اب کسی غلبہ دین کے لیے جہاد کی ضرورت نہیں ہے بلکہ قرآن کے ذریعہ دعوت پھیلانے کی ضرورت ہے ۔
مسلمان جہاد کا اسلامی ٹچ دے کر اپنا ذاتی اقتدارشارٹ کٹ میں قائم کرنا چاہتے ہیں ۔ دعوت کی لمبی مشقت میں انکی انا کو ٹھیس پہنچتی ہے ۔
ماشاءاللہ پروفیسر صاحب کچھ باتیں بہت واضح کر کے آپ نے بیان کر دیا۔ جیسے ختم نبوت جیسے نازک معاملے کو خامدی صاحب کے ہاں کیسے سمجھا جاتا ہے۔ میزبان صاحب نے اگر سخت comments سے منع نہ کیا ہوتا تو بہت سخت الفاظ لکھے جا سکتے ہیں۔ دین ہے سیاست نہیں کہ بے احتیاطی سے بیانیہ بنا کر لوگوں کی بحث کے لیا چھوڑ دیا جائے۔

I would like to point out as a humble student of Ghamidi Sahib; that Prof. Abrar is also no less humble, courteous and knowledgeable person. When i first watched his videos, I thought that he is also following Farahi School in some way due to his similarities in thoughts and execution with Scholars of Farahi School. I was really surprised to find him on this side of the isle. But thats still a pleasant surprise because i can't over state the importance of this discussion in continuing REAL religious dialogue.

What is the need to air such controversial topics while we, the Muslims, do not even adhere to very basic human values as ordained by our Creator through His divine books and prophets. Such conflicts and disagreements, quite frankly, are irrelevant to our daily struggles of life.
Have watched this Discussion three times , prof Irfan makes more sense to me ......

پروفیسر صاحب قبلہ کی بے چینی اور پریشانی دیدنی ہے ہر بار ڈاکٹر عرفان کے جواب کے بعد اپنا ورژن ضرور دیتے ہیں، اور پھر یہ بھی کہہ دیتے ہیں کہ فکر فراہی کی یہ بات اجماع اور امت کے علم و سوچ کے برعکس ہے۔
Dr Irfan Shehzad ( Maktab e Farahi) is a clear winner of this debate . Anyone who has common sense can easily spot that Dr Irfan wasn't just making claims, he built his case and refuted the allegations one by one by presenting Ayats. On the contrary, the other Individual was doing nothing but claiming Ghamidi Sb and his students are Deviant since they disagree with the tradionaliats. One Verse is sufficient enough to rebuke this non sense. Prof Abrar hardly answered anything and kept beating around the bush by complaining that it's not acceptable since it's against their forefathers and majority of the So called Ulemas
عَلَيْهِ ءَابَآءَنَا ۗ أَوَلَوْ كَانَ ءَابَآؤُهُمْ لَا يَعْقِلُونَ شَيْـًۭٔا وَلَا يَهْتَدُونَ
"And when it is said to them, 'Follow what Allah has revealed,' they say, 'Rather, we will follow what we found our forefathers upon.' Even though their forefathers understood nothing, nor were they guided?" (Quran 2:170
Professor Abrar has beautifully explained how ghamdi itmam hujat qanoon is just a mufroza, full of inconsistences, since damad of ghamidi is busy deleting comments, people should go to the original channel of this video and read un biased comments. Professor abrar has also showed that how these ayat are taken out of context.
